If a way could be found to make everyone become gods, or to make the number of acquired gods exceed the number of gods in the nine heavenly pantheon, there would be a significant change in the social atmosphere. These innate gods would not be as arrogant, nor would they strut about every day.
The current social ethos is a mess, especially among the lower races in the Central, Southern, and Northern Realms, who are easily influenced by the values of the evil gods. Their genes carry the instinct to worship evil gods, in hopes of currying favor and being granted a measure of power, which would then allow them to swagger and bully others in society.
The social climate on Blue Planet and Emu is quite good, however, as the living environment is sufficient and the leading figures of the era of extraordinary beings are generally noble.
In this era, those who accomplish great things usually have a high level of ideological awareness.
