Li Mei's face turned a few degrees colder as she sneered in her heart, not saying a single word. She knew her strengths and weaknesses, and she was sure she would fare better than these brute soldiers!
No wonder her husband warned her. None of these soldiers cared about her in the first place!
As Li Mei stood, she could finally see the General walking forward and standing in front of the troop, further into the aisle upon a stage.
He didn't glance at anyone in particular, but his eyes roamed about the entire troop as he said a single sentence, "Get ready to fight, and no slacking, especially the newbies!"
Li Mei also took a deep breath and pursed her lips.
She suddenly started feeling that being with her husband wasn't that bad. At least he or his troops wouldn't ignore her like this.
