Li Wei heard the sound of a painful roar the next second as she reflexively opened her eyes only to find the beast having a big, round hole in its chest area, full of blood and mass as it streamed out from the place. She wrinkled her nose and stumbled back, hitting her back to a tree branch.
She turned back and saw that her 'master' was still sitting on that same branch as she looked in his direction, tilting her head.
The man was leisurely sitting in the same place, even resting his shoulders as she raised his chin lazily, shrugging, "I just helped you a bit seeing your sincerity."
A hint of envy raised in her bones as she glared at the man.
Since he could kill so easily, why the fuck did he refuse to help her on the grounds of forcing her to make that vow?!
