_ Seeing Anna looking down and clench her fists reminds me of Rose. I wonder how that girl is doing? _
Rose was one of Adrian's close friends. He once saved her from a group of bullies and from then on they got to know each other. Adrian stayed in the orphanage until the age of twelve when he got adopted by a wealthy family. During the time they spent together, Adrian had gotten to know her personality.
Whenever she wanted something from him and was shy to say it she would always look down and clench her fists and instead ask for something else. Adrian would always tease her and ask her if that is what she really wanted until she eventually spill out what she really wanted.
Seeing Anna do the same thing, it reminded him of Rose and he couldn't help himself from asking her if that was what she really wanted. He shook his head turning back to look at Anna.
" Let's go. I'm also headed there. Might as well head there together." He turned and walked away while the group followed silently. From their current location they weren't far from their destination.
Walking for around thirty minutes, Adrian came to a stop watching his surrounding with a frown. Ever since they started moving from the previous stop, they hadn't encountered any monster.
" Something is not right... Stay vigilant..." The group slightly panicked moving around like scared kittens. One male student couldn't understand the meaning of his words and asked the question most of them wanted to ask.
" What's wrong big brother? Everything seems okay to me... There are no zombies or monsters. What could possibly be wrong?" The other students nodded their heads while giving the guy a thumbs up in their heads.
It was Anna who also had a frown who answered " That's exactly the problem. We haven't encountered any enemy for the last half hour."
"Isn't that a good thing? Maybe someone else killed them." Another student retorted.
Anna looked at the student as if he was an idiot " There are no signs of fighting or corpses left behind. If someone killed them, the person did a good job of cleaning the scene before he left."
The other students finally understood what Adrian meant. They also looked at the guy who got mocked as if he was an idiot to which he blushed in embarrassment. Adrian looked at them from the corner of his eyes then turned to Anna slightly nodding his head.
_She's smart! _ His lips curled into a smile before looking into the distance.
As he leveled up, his sensory system got improved. Right now he could feel slight tremors in the ground coming from the distance. There seem to be a commotion there, coincidentally it was the direction they were headed, he could clearly see the three storey building in the distance.
Without wasting time he hurried there, he figured the missing monsters must have gathered there. True to his thought, he found over a hundred zombies and oversized insects gathered there killing each other.

On another side, a group of about twenty students moved in the direction of G-HALL.
They all looked scared as they surveyed their surroundings as they moved forward.
A group of zombies staggered towards them from the front.
Swoosh!
Before the zombies could react, ice spikes penetrated their heads freezing their brains in an instant ending their lives. The group of students looked at the figure of the woman leading them with respect and adoration. They shuddered imagining their fate if she wasn't there.
She had long flowing silver colour hair and bright blue eyes. Her body was curved at the right places but her expression was indifferent and cold as ice. The group then continued to advance further.
•••
On another side two men, one young and one old, led another group of students also heading to G-Hall. Three zombies appeared in front staggering towards them.
Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!
Before the students could scream in fear, three arrows flew, finding their marks in the zombie's brains. The young man leading them, wearing sports clothes, a bow in hand and a quiver with arrows, walked forward and retrieved the arrows.
Swoosh!
Suddenly, a basketball size mutated bee appeared charging at the young man at a speed faster than a normal human. It's stinger aiming for the young man's head.
However, what greeted the mutated bee was a metal baseball bat.
Bang!
The mutated bee's body popped off into pieces, flesh and blood flew everywhere making a bloody mess.
" You are fast, but you are too weak!" The burly man, resting the bat on his shoulder, spat with a savage expression causing the students to shrink back in fear. The group continued to advance further.

Adrian's group finally catch up to him. They are horrified by the shear amount of zombies gathered there. They were about fifty metres away from their destination but none of them dared to move.
Adrian had no idea there were people with the same idea as him. Right now he was observing a certain area where the monsters were fighting.
A black shadow weaved through the group of zombies leaving behind heads flying in the air. The slow moving zombies were like helpless chickens.
He knew that was an enemy he didn't want to encounter. He urged the group to retreat back silently. Unfortunately, it seem today lady luck was not on his side.
Swoosh!
The black shadow in the distance charged towards the group at astonishing speeds.
It had clearly spot them from the distance.
Adrian's scalp went numb, he realized it was specifically targeting him. Maybe it realized he was the strongest of the group therefore he was the best tonic to evolve.
Out of instinct, he made a horizontal slash with all his strength.
Clang!!
The sound of metal hitting metal echoed. Their strength seem to be the similar forcing the black shadow to stop it's movements but the momentum pushed Adrian three metres back.
Adrian finally got to see it's true appearance.
It was actually a big mantis about six feet tall, two large scythe-like forelimbs and it's two terrifying red eyes staring at him flickering with killing intent.
The mantis disappeared and appeared in front of Adrian. He raised the sword again parrying at the last second. This time his body flew back clashing on the ground ten metres away. Without hesitation, he willed all his free stats points into agility.
He felt as if his body was electrocuted giving him an itch that soon disappeared.
Swoosh!
Before he stood up, he felt a gust of wind behind him. He knew the culprit without turning his head. He pushed his body with all his strength.
The six feet tall mantis had appeared behind Adrian slashing downwards with it's scythe-like legs.
It disappeared again and instantly appeared infront of him again, however, this time Adrian could see its movements clearly.
Clang!
They engaged each other, trying very hard to kill each other. Their two figures flickered and constantly clashed leaving behind the sounds of metal clashing against metal.
Adrian's sword got filled with cracks the more they clashed, which made him at a disadvantage. The mantis seem to have also realized and increased the intensity of its attacks.
