A few days have passed after that little sparring session and some things have started improving, for example…

"It's good. You've improved…" Daniel slowly chewed the food and gave his evaluation.
"Though I still think that you should add more…" He proceeded to tell her his own cooking experience, he may not be that good compared to a five star chef but he had enough knowledge.
In order to pay attention more, she came closer, making her face close to Daniel.
Raiden Mei listened intently and brought a small notebook. From the looks of it, she didn't notice the ambiguity of their distance.
After their talk, her mood has improved.
At least she's not so lonely compared to back then.
Seeing their harmonious relationship, Kiana suddenly feels that the food in her lunchbox isn't so fragrant anymore.

Suddenly, she stood up and went between them before squeezing herself in.

Mei and Daniel looked weirdly at the white haired dumpling in surprise.

"Anyway, you don't need to thank me, we're friends after all. But if you do…" Kiana started drooling as she looked at his lunchbox.
"Finally show your true colors." Daniel raised up his lunchbox in the air.
"You're insulting it earlier!" She retorted as she raised her arm to grab it but due to size difference, all her attempts have been futile.
"It's called constructive-criticism."
"You're implying it's bad!"
"And you're implying that you'll eat anything and everything, husky."
"Who are you calling a dog?!"
Seeing them going at it again, Raiden Mei sighed. Wasn't Daniel supposed to be older than them? Why was he acting so childish?
And Kiana-chan, don't you know any shame?! How can you stick so close to a man?!
Ignoring that earlier, she was just the same. Raiden Mei inwardly complained.
"Narrow minded bug."
"Dirt poor."
"Even Zoro is smarter than you when searching for directions."
"That's it!" Kiana pounced on him.
She may not know who this Zoro guy is but for some reason, she felt insulted.
Even more when Daniel called her a dog.
Daniel, obviously used to Kiana's cheap tactics, skillfully avoided her body and put her head under his arm while still holding the lunchbox high.
"Daniel, please let go of Kiana-chan," Looking at the even more ambiguous position, Raiden Mei waved her hands and tried to separate them.
"You too, I'll bring two lunches for you tomorrow so stop fighting." She said to Kiana.
The white haired dumpling heard this and her eyes lit up.
Eventually, the two separated and Daniel stuffed the food in his mouth, causing him to choke.
"Here's water," Raiden Mei immediately handed him a water tumbler.
"Hmph, serves you right." Kiana muttered loud enough for them to hear.
Daniel just glared at her before drinking the water to soothe his throat.
"Kiana-chan!"
"What? He's too stingy." Kiana heard Mei and said weakly.
"K.I.A.N.A..!"
Daniel sighed as he heard Kiana's begging to Mei.
As he was packing the lunch, he suddenly felt something staring at him and he instinctively turned his head in a certain direction.

A few hundred meters away, Bronya, who was observing the three from a distance saw Daniel turned his towards her direction and she immediately hid into the corner to avoid his site.
This made her puzzled. As a professional assassin, she has high confidence about her stealth skills, more so after she was exposed to Honkai energy.
