Two Years Later
"You didn't have dinner." Sang Xiu said as she came inside Yang Meiyi room with a tray of food.
A fifteen years old Yang Meiyi who was lying on the bed, sat upright and said "I'm not hungry."
"Are you angry with me because I scolded you about your result?" Sang Xiu asked, she placed the food on Meiyi table and sat beside her.
When Yang Meiyi decided not to say anything, Sang Xiu sighed and said "You know I love you, if you keep getting such results, how will you be able to get into a good university. Do you know how many times you have been compare to Yang Jia?"
"Well I don't care, it's not like I plan on going to a university anyway." Yang Meiyi said.
"Then be a dropout, I wonder if old master Fu will really accept a dropout as his granddaughter-in-law." Sang Xiu said in anger and was about to leave when she heard Meiyi sniffing, she turned and saw her daughter cleaning tears from her eyes.
Sang Xiu walked back to her daughter and said "Is Fu Mingze the reason for this tears?"
"He hasn't replied to any of my messages." Yang Meiyi said as tears fell from her eyes.
"Why do you like Fu Mingze so much, you are only fifteen years old. I'm sure you will meet someone better than him."
"But I don't want anyone better than him."
Sang Xiu chuckled and said "You must really love him, right?"
Yang Meiyi nodded.
"Then wait for him but Meiyi I truly hope you fall out of love with him."
Yang Meiyi looked at her mother and asked "Why?"
Sang Xiu shook her head and said "You may not understand now but one day you will. For years I have always thought that what you felt for Mingze was just a childish crush, but now that I know it isn't I want to tell you something."
"What is it?"
"You can never get married into the Fu family. The Yang and the Fu Family are worlds apart, you are innocent and naive and if you entered the Fu family this way then they will eat you alive."
"But old master Fu and Fu Mingze are nice."
"The Fu family comprises of people other than Fu Shen and Fu Mingze. Should I tell you a story about the Fu family?"
Yang Meiyi nodded, after all not much was said about Fu Mingze family in the book, maybe it was because he wasn't the male lead.
Sang Xiu sighed and said "Fu Shen had an older brother named Fu Dang. In order for one to become the head of the Fu family there is a training they undergo, although I do not know what the training is about but before Fu Shen and Fu Dang could go ahead with this training, Fu Dang got into a car accident and died. Fu Shen went through the training alone and was named the head of the Fu clan but the thing is Fu Dang had a son, when that boy came of age, he decided to challenge old master Fu for the position of the head of the Fu family, he felt that since his father was the first son, it was only right that the title of the head of the Fu family goes to him.
At that time, old master Fu didn't have any son, he only had a daughter and perhaps he truly wanted to give Fu Hong the title of the head of the Fu family because he accepted the challenge and said if Fu Hong was able to successfully passed the training of the Fu family then he could become the head of the family."
Yang Meiyi looked at her mother and asked "Did he pass?"
Sang Xiu shook her head and said "He didn't, he gave up and therefore Fu Hong was deemed unfit to rule the Fu family. I'm sure as years passed by Fu Hong might have no longer mind because old master Fu only daughter ran away and he didn't have any other child, there must have been no threat for him, he must have thought that with time he would still become the head of the Fu clan until the day Fu Yin came back to the Fu mansion with a six years old boy and at that time Fu Hong already had a ten years old son named Fu Dang, the kid was named after his grandfather."
"Hold on! Then does that mean that Fu Mingze and Fu Dang are going to undergo that training and whoever wins is going to become the next head of the Fu clan?" Yang Meiyi asked.
"Yes."
Yang Meiyi let out a sad sighed and said "No wonder he said his footing in the Fu Family isn't strong yet. But what kind of training do they even undergo? It must be a difficult one if Fu Hong who was so determine to become the family head gave up."
"I do not really know what it's about but according to your grandfather, it's a kind of training that changes them, you know old master Fu and your grandfather has been friends for a long time and according to your grandfather, after Fu Shen came of the training, he felt he was staring at a different person, a more colder and calculated person."
"But Fu Mingze has a weak heart, will he really be able to do it?"
"I do not know but I truly hopes he pass because if he doesn't Fu Hong won't spare him or his grandfather. " Sang Xiu said. She carresses her daughter hair and kissed her forehead then whispered "Eat your dinner and get some rest. Don't think about it too much and as for you not going to the university, we will talk about it tomorrow, ok?"
Yang Meiyi nodded and watched as her mother left the room. She took in a deep breath and thought to herself that everything was going to be alright after all in the book Fu Mingze was old master Fu successor so that must mean he passed. Yes, everything was going to be alright.
A twenty one years old Yang Jia who has been listening behind the door immediately hid herself when Sang Xiu came out of the room. She went back to her room and lay on the bed with her eyes open, after staring at the ceiling for a few moments. She got up and collected a box under her bed, she opened the box and bought out a notebook and a sketch book.
Yang Jia opened the notebook and wrote 'At age fifteen, she is still in love with Fu Mingze. Should I take him away from her just the way her mother took away my father and broke our home? I should make Fu Mingze to fall in love with me and only then can I have my revenge, only then can I make both those mother and daughter pay for ruining my family and destroying my mother.'
After writing she closed the notebook and put it inside her box and then opened the sketch book, the sketch book was filled with sketches of Gu Zhen and without any hesitation, Yang Jia torn the book into pieces and placed it in the dustbin.

As Sang Xiu sat on her dressing chair, rubbing her face cream, she chuckled when Yang Jiu came closer to her and kissed her neck as he said "Who would have thought that I would one day be this lucky."
Sang Xiu looked at her beautiful appearance in the mirror and asked "I still look pretty right?"
Yang Jiu smiled and said "You have always been beautiful." He cleared his throat and said "By the way, Yang Jia wishes to join the company."
Sang Xiu stopped her movement and looked at her husband through the mirror and asked "As what?"
"I was thinking of making her the vice president, I wanted to introduce her as my successor." Yang Jiu said.
"What about Meiyi?"
Yang Jiu sighed and said "Everyone knows about Meiyi, everyone knows about her obsession with Fu Mingze, it will be a miracle if she is able to get into a good university."
Sang Xiu frowned and asked "And what do you mean by that?"
"I'm sorry if my words offends you but Yang Jia is the eldest and one day when she becomes the CEO of the company I will ensure Meiyi becomes the vice."
"There will be no need for that." Sang Xiu said as she stood up from the chair and continued "However, if Yang Jia were to one day become the CEO of Yang corporation then isn't right for Meiyi to get something tangible as well."
"That is why I will offer her the position of the vice president."
"Oh please, you talk as if you don't know how much your daughter despise both me and my Meiyi. If you put her as the vice president then Yang Jia will spare no effort in humiliating my daughter and that is something I cannot allow."
"Then what do you want?" Yang Jiu asked.
Sang Xiu smiled and went to her bedside, she opened her drawer and took out a document, she gave the document to Yang Jiu and said "This is what I want."
Yang Jiu frowned as he read the document and said "But isn't this too much?"
"No, Yang Jiu. Infact it is too little."
"You want me to give Meiyi twenty percent of every profit the Yang corporation makes every year. This is ridiculous!" Yang Jiu said angrily.
"Ever since I found out that I was pregnant with Meiyi, I have planned her future and I didn't make the Yang corporation into a multi millionaire company just for you and your daughter to eat up everything."
"Sang Xiu!"
"Sign it or your daughter will never sit on the CEO seat, this is my promise to you."
