If there was one thing Liu Yi hated about being a child is the fact that she had to wake up very early just to go to school. She felt so bored when the teacher was teaching to the point that she slept throughout the class and when the bell rang to signify the end of the class, Yang Meiyi opened her eyes to find an angry lady looking at her intensely.
"My office right now." The angry lady said and walked out of the classroom.
"It looks like you are in trouble." A little girl who was sitting beside her taunted.
Yang Meiyi used her head to hit the table gently and whispered "I can't believe I'm going to go through this again."
Yang Meiyi walked to the teacher office and just stood there as the lady glance at her and continue her work. She was about to sit when she heard her homeroom teacher asked "Who asked you to sit? Stand while we wait for your mother."
Yang Meiyi frowned at that and asked herself why this homeroom teacher was so petty, she only slept in class, it's not like she committed a big offence. With pouted lips, she stood for almost an hour, before she saw Sang Xiu walking in anxiously.
The homeroom teacher stood up with a smile and shook Sang Xiu hand as she said "I'm so glad you are here, Mrs Yang, Please take a seat."
Sang Xiu glanced at her daughter and asked "You said she slept throughout the entire class?"
"Yes, she did. Yang Meiyi has never been serious with her studies but her attitude towards her studies is turning from bad to worse, this is the first time that Meiyi dared to sleep in class."
Sang Xiu turned to looked at Meiyi and scolded "Why were you sleeping in class? Do you know how disrespectful it is for you to be sleeping while your teacher teach?"
"But I didn't do it intentionally." Meiyi whined.
"Apologize to your teacher." Sang Xiu said.
Yang Meiyi looked at her homeroom teacher and said "I'm sorry teacher, I won't do it again."
"Go wait for me outside." Sang Xiu said firmly.
After Yang Meiyi left, Sang Xiu bought out a fat envelope and gave it to the teacher with a smile as she said "I truly hope this won't affect my Meiyi future, as her homeroom teacher, it is only proper for you to take good care of her, right?"
The homeroom teacher looked around and cleared her throat before accepting the money and said "You are always so generous Mrs Yang. I will always take care of Meiyi but even that will be difficult if she has no zeal to study."
Sang Xiu smiled and said "I will take care of that, you don't need to worry about it. I just hope Meiyi grades won't fall this time."
The homeroom teacher looked at the envelope and said "Of course, i will ensure that it won't fall."
Sang Xiu sighed in relief and said "Thank you."

Sang Xiu walked out of the school and saw her daughter waiting for her in front of the school gate and asked "Why didn't you wait in the car?"
"How much did you give her?" Yang Meiyi asked as she stared at the woman who was now her mother.
"Does it matter, the most important thing is that you pass all your courses."
"Not like this."
"Meiyi."
"You can't keep paying them."
"If you don't want me to keep paying then focus on your studies. Why can't you be a little like Yang Jia, she is always the first in her class."
"If I were like her I would hate you."
"Meiyi!"
"Do you still want me to be like Yang Jia?"
When did her daughter become so loud mouthed, "No, don't be like her. But if you want me to take you to old master Fu birthday, then you have to promise me that you won't sleep in class anymore."
Yang Meiyi sighed and said "Fine. I promise."
Sang Xiu sighed and walked to her car and opened the back seat for Meiyi, after she entered, Sang Xiu ensure that her seat belt was properly put on before closing the door and as she entered the driver seat she said "We are going shopping. We need to get a gift for old master Fu birthday and yes, I will also buy you your favorite choloate cake."
Yang Meiyi let out a cute smile and said "My mom is the best."

Yang Meiyi looked at herself in the mirror and felt satisfied with her appearance, she was dressed in a blue gown with a beautiful sapphire necklace on her neck and little purse hang around her, it felt really good to be rich.
There was a gentle knock on the door and she heard her mother voice asking "Are you ready?"
Sang Xiu opened the door and saw her daughter looking at herself in the mirror and said "Nanny Zi did a good job in dressing you up."
Yang Meiyi smiled and looked at her mother and asked "How do I look?"
"My daughter looks very beautiful. Wow, do I have to be worried about how many hearts you will break when you grow up."
Meiyi smiled and said "I only care about one heart and I don't intend on breaking it."
Sang Xiu frown and asked "There is someone you already like?"
Yang Meiyi nodded and said "Mom, today is very important for me, you have to help me."
"Help you with what? And who is that boy you like?"
Meiyi smiled and said "You will know tonight, everyone in country M will know tonight."
"Is he coming to old Master Fu birthday party? Then he must be from a rich family? Was that why you wanted to come to this party? Which family is he from?"
"Mom, you are asking too much question." Meiyi said.
"Could this be the reason you are not focus on your studies? You will show me the boy and I will talk to his parents."
Yang Meiyi rolled her eyes and before she could say anything, they both heard Yang Jiu loud voice saying "Sang Xiu, bring Meiyi out already, we can't be late."
Sang Xiu looked at Meiyi and said "We are not done with this conversation little lady?"
Meiyi pouted her lips and followed her mother out, she had a feeling that this was going to be a long night.
