Up until this time, Lazy Wafula had only seen a vampire and a Safari as the only people from the higher races. He had heard that there were many demons and witches in this shelter but he had never came across such people.
Probably they were in that area that had graffiti all over, where Fey Wesonga warned him against going to that part of the shelter, or it may be that the demons and the witches were always hunting. Who knows? He had never asked about them.
¯\_(☯෴☯)_/¯
Lazy Wafula went into his cabin and sat down on the floor since he had not found time to make a bed or a chair of his own. He was not in a hurry to go back to Iwefwe planet since even the people whom he had sold the beasts to, had not yet reached at Kibra shelter let alone to their homes.
He was so weary that he allowed his back to fall to the floor languidly. He stared at the sealing while mulling over his past life. How life on Earth was lovely, lively and peaceful especially when Genesis was still an infant. He was always happy, smiling and loved that life but when Genesis grew up, life on Earth became hard and unpleasant.
Suddenly, Lazy Wafula felt something, yes, he can feel it.
Lazy Wafula felt that someone was watching him. He stood up and moved around in circles in his room but he didn't see anything that was out of place. He was the only one in the room and on top of that, there was nothing in this room.
Even a leaf was not in this room. What was in this room was only a little dust which had accumulated over the years but Lazy Wafula was not in the mood to clean the room. He was so used to the dirty environment in such a way that the dirty of the room still hadn't gotten on his nerves.
Lazy Wafula was flabbergasted. Even while he was still standing at the middle of his room, he still felt that someone was watching him. His intuition was not just a facade, he had cultivated his intuition since he was still undergoing the Survival selections on Earth. He was very very sure that something was not right in this room. There had to be something or someone who was peering at him.
'Is it the guardian spirit that is watching me from the sidelines?' Lazy Wafula thought about the guardians whom he had known from the system.
Those guardians were the one that gave the cultivators their systems - these systems were not just for show, they were supposed to guide a cultivator and not only that, but the systems were also a pass, yes, the systems were like a key to enter into the cultivation planes.
Without it, no one could be welcomed, no, nobody could break the barrier and enter into the cultivation planes the way they liked. The system was everything. Though, there were some people who when they became strong, they separate themselves from the system as they had come to know of a way to break through the barrier.
No one liked to be watched after all. No one liked to be a slave or to be ordered around like a loyal dog, no. They were arrogant people, how dare you look into their souls. That was tainting and against their morality.
Just imagining having s*xx with their loved ones but deep down, they knew that there were beings out there who were watching their every move. A person might not be collected and concentrate on the act knowing that they were being watched - it was just embarrassing.
Who would dare to do that act in front of the audience? Unless they were very shameless. One may not even feel the desired pleasure while doing it. Their thoughts might wander when they were still in the act making their partners uninterested and stupid.
Anyway, the feeling of being watched that Lazy Wafula was feeling right now was not the same feeling that he felt from the system. This one was so daunting and suppressing in that it even made him feel like he was absolutely nothing in front of the being that was watching him.
