Upon sensing Lazy Wafula's distant aura of dark divinity which he had still not yet activated, the door moved sideways by itself revealing a magnificent view inside. The first thing that got into his sight was a big hall that rivals that of the Vatican cathedral. It was just that this hall had no seats as it was very empty like a football pitch but the red carpet and the exquisite craftsmanship done to this hall was something that Lazy Wafula had never seen in his life, it was just otherworldly.
Something that he didn't thought existed. Unlike outside where he had came from, this place was lit up by countless candles fixed on the chandeliers. The place itself had this feeling of nostalgia and longing as if he was back on Earth during the days before Genesis upped the intensity of the survival selections. He also felt like he was being watched. He felt like he was a model on the platform with a big audiences on the sides which were cheering him but in this case, the audiences were not cheering but gazing at him with empty faces devoid of emotions.
Without even them knowing, their gazes were so suffocating to Lazy Wafula that he began feeling a chill all over his body. The unknown was always scary. He felt like he was being watched but those people who were watching him can't be seen by him, it was just too frustrating.
Huh, too frustrating.
Knowing that those people in the background could not do a thing to him for now, he walked forward while observing everything around the hall. He had came here to check out the souls that he obtained after killing those Wood Rivers but he wasn't seeing them anywhere.
"Where are those souls?" Lazy Wafula muttered softly and with that, several transparent container emerged from the floor startling him. There were three containers instead of two as he had expected. Two of them had lifeless souls of Wood Which he had expected and he was not unnerved by that but the third container was what confused him the most. The soul on the third container was a hideous silhouette of something like a demon from hell.
Unlike the souls of the two Wood Rivers, this soul was very lively as it was even staring at him with its empty eyes and it was not even caring about anything as if it was meant to be there or it was the host. Lazy Wafula could clearly tell that this soul was a very powerful one but he didn't knew when he got this soul or where he got it from. After all, he was too preoccupied with those Wood Rivers at that time to care about the soul that entered in his soul space.
"Inspect!" Lazy Wafula uttered and the information of the soul was projected on the transparent screen of the container.
[ A soul of the Ancient Divine Nightmare Sorcerer ]
[ nature of the soul : Dark attribute enhancement ]
[ Cultivation stage of the soul : Unknown??? ]
"How can the cultivation stage of this soul remain unknown?" Lazy Wafula was puzzled by the unreliable information in front of him.
_"Beep"
_"The cultivation stage of the soul remain unknown because host has no right or power to be enabled to know its stage or there maybe someone who is manipulating this soul's energy waves thus, giving out a falsified results which to the system it can not be analyzed for now."
Lazy Wafula was irritated once again by the system. The system can even talk to him in this space? This was scary and it meant that the entity or the creator of this system can clearly see inside his soul space. This was so scary to think about, he was too naked in front of such a being. Peeking at his nude body would have been ok but into his soul was something that Lazy Wafula found it unacceptable.
His mood was even soured right now. He decided that he will check out the other rooms later and then decided to turn to leave but he was wondering how he can leave this place since he appeared here out if nowhere. He decided to try what he had been doing when he wanted something in this space.
"Take me back!" Lazy Wafula ordered.
"That was creepy and troublesome to be in company with the system." Lazy Wafula thought to himself. He had seen the memories of his consciousness when it came back from the soul space and he was not pleased by the system either. The decision made by his consciousness to stop looking around the castle was right and clever especially when the matter concerning the system was concerned.
At this point, they had already reached at the gate of the shelter and Lazy Wafula's injury had already healed up completely. The cultivators who had promised to teach Lazy Wafula a lesson were no where to be seen probably they had returned to their homes back to their planets or they had gone to hunt after getting tired of waiting.
Fey Wesonga waved at him and turned to leave for his shelter.
"Don't forget to send me the money that we agreed upon." Lazy Wafula reminded Fey as they separated. Fey Wesonga's room was close to where the graffiti covered cabins were.
Lazy Wafula went back to his cabin and decided to teleport back to Iwefwe planet.
