Chapter 30 - Operation Exposing the Truth to the Freshmen

As soon as they left the dungeon, they saw a group sitting in front of the dungeon, and they noticed that it was the group that had followed them. When the group saw them exiting the dungeon, the leader said, "You took forever!"

"No kidding! Let's not talk about it here! For the love of Ares!" replied a frustrated Lucca.

After that, they entered the forest, and Alice said, "Spill it!"

"I want to reveal the truth!" he replied with determination.

"Why?" asked Ana.

'Because it's unfair!' he responded.

"Haha!" laughed Lucca, "Unfair, huh? Now tell me, how are we going to reveal this secret?"

"I don't know, but surely we can think of something!" he said.

"Jacob, right?" asked Alice. He nodded, and she continued, "I was already planning this; I wanted to do it tomorrow, but apparently, I'll have to postpone it by a day."

"What's the plan?" asked Lucca.

"Leave a message on a piece of paper on all doors in our dorm! And reveal it," she explained.

"And what are we going to write there?" asked Jacob.

"That our seniors are lying to us!" said Alice.

The discussion about what to write took at least 5 minutes until Lucca said,"They lied to us! The dungeon is accessible to all of us. Time to explore together now! What do you guys think?" Lucca asked for the group's opinions.

"I think it's good!" said Ana, and everyone nodded.

"And how are we going to leave this message?" asked Jacob.

"I'll handle it!" said Lucca.

"How?" asked a curious Alice.

"I'm a mage, did you forget?"

"What does that have to do with it?"

"I'll use sand to convey the message."

"Don't you think that's too risky? After all, someone could open the door and simply erase the message," Jacob pointed out.

"Don't worry about that! I have a solution!" Saying this, they began to walk away.

"Wait for us!" said Alice.

"You can come with me, but stay outside the dorm!" He continued walking until he had an idea. "Forget it; you guys go into your room, and I'll write the message. You have to act like you don't know about the message! And you will run out of your rooms to go to the dungeon. Hopefully, that will make others do the same," said Lucca.

"No way!" said Nolan.

"Nolan, please! Just this once!" Lucca pleaded.

"I think it's an excellent idea. Nolan, just this once!" Alice also pleaded.

Nolan nodded, giving up on opposing the group's decision. Jacob's group also agreed.

With the agreed-upon plan, they headed to their rooms, but Lucca needed to do something.

'Shop skills,' Lucca thought to himself as he accessed the virtual store within his system. He began navigating through the shop until he found what he was looking for.

(Shadow Walker)

Description: When activating this skill, you become invisible. Above rank 3, this skill does not work."

Price: 1000 soul tokens.

{You acquired a new skill, Shadow Walker.}

Lucca activated the 'Shadow Walker' skill and entered the dormitory. He headed towards the doors where he knew people were inside.

Using the sand element, he began writing the message. Suddenly, he heard a scream, presumably from a girl, and her voice followed, "It's a ghost!" He chuckled at her words but continued his task of writing messages inside the rooms

After placing the messages on all the rooms with people inside, Lucca climbed to the dormitory roof to witness the spectacle.

Upstairs, Jacob's group began running out of their room, as soon as they heard footsteps, many opened their doors, and one of them asked, "Do you really believe this?"

Half of those who left their rooms agreed with Jacob and started running to get their group members to see if it was really true. This created a herd effect, and everyone who saw the message went to call their group members to go to the dungeon.

Downstairs, the same happened with Lucca's group. Lucca, on the roof, laughed at the situation, as he could see everything from up there.

In the dungeon, many groups started arriving. Jacob's group was the first, and as he looked back, he saw quite a few people behind him. So, he decided to enter to see if he could encourage the others to enter as well.

Some entered, others hesitated, and one of the people who hesitated said, "Can we really go in?" with a tone of doubt.

Alice said, "I'll trust the message! After all, the camp starts on Monday, and I don't want to be fighting for my life with level 0." As soon as she finished the sentence, she entered.

After some time, they came out of the dungeon, and Lucca said, "Apparently, everyone entered the dungeon!" and smiled.

"This is going to cause us a big problem with the seniors!" commented Nolan.

Soon after, a voice came from behind, "At least there's someone who can analyze the situation!"

Lucca looked back and saw that the one who spoke was the assassin. He said, "Now do you believe us? Last time we talked, you started complaining that you didn't believe us!"

He grunted and didn't respond to Lucca. Seeing this, Lucca laughed.

Seeing that a member of their group was being bullied, Jacob said, "Come on, guys, let's stay calm, we're in this together!" He paused and continued, "How are we going to avoid problems with our seniors?"

"We can't do anything! If they're really as irritated as you're thinking, they'll come to us! More precisely, our group!" sighed Ana.

"The most we can do is be prepared to defend ourselves!" agreed Alice.

"If they come at us, I'll fight against all of them!" said Ivy angrily.

"I actually have a completely different opinion! They've already managed to delay the first year, so the goal is already accomplished!" revealed Lucca.

"To be honest, that would be the best outcome." said jacob
