The next classes were math and geometry. Lucca didn't pay much attention to the class because the knowledge in this world regarding math and geometry is a joke compared to Earth, and with the information stored in the ori, it wouldn't be worth paying attention!
"Now what? Is it over, or do we have one more? I'm getting hungry!" said Lucca.
"Did you even look at the schedule?" asked Ana.
"I did, but that doesn't mean I've memorized it!" replied Lucca.
"It's not exactly a class; they're just going to give you some papers. You'll have to choose which classes you want, and then we can leave."
"I didn't quite understand, but I can figure out what's going to happen; that's enough."
"Is she from the council?" asked Lucca.
"That's right!" replied Alice.
This woman with long, brown, gently wavy hair, green eyes, with porcelain skin, and a height of 1.64 meters (5'5").
"Someone come here and grab the papers and give them to your classmates!" As she spoke, she sat on the table with an arrogant tone again.
A student stood up and fetched the papers, and Lucca asked, "What are the papers for?"
Pwe," she sighed upon hearing that and answered, "just choose what you want to specialize in at the academy and which subjects interest you. But don't pick too many subjects because if you have too many absences, you might have a problem within the academy!" She replied with a tone of disinterest.
"I thought I explained enough!" said Alice.
"And you did, but I wanted to annoy that bitch!" replied Lucca.
Lucca received the sheet with several columns on it, listing various roles (mage, Archer...) and underneath the columns, there were various specializations and various subjects. Lucca, as expected, chose the column that said magic.
He began to look at the various subjects below and was undecided about which to choose, but after some time, he finally chose: Elements, Beast Companion, Study of Runes and Symbols, and Magic and Mana, which was the mandatory subject.
He looked at the upcoming schedules and checked the timings of the subjects he had chosen. Then, he told the ori to alert him when it was time for class. Examining the schedule, he asked his group:
"Now, what time are we heading to the dungeon with these schedules?"
"Do you prefer mornings or evenings?" Alice asked.
"I prefer mornings!" Ana replied.
"Nolan?" Alice inquired.
"Morning!" he answered.
"I prefer evenings!" said Lucca.
"Ivy?" Alice asked.
"It doesn't matter; I just want to go to the dungeon every day! Even if I have to force you!" she replied enthusiastically.
"I prefer mornings, so it's settled. We wake up two hours earlier and head to the dungeon!" And with that, it was decided.
"Just a question, do these classes start today?" Arthur asked.
Elara was about to speak, but before that, she saw who asked and replied with a sweet voice: "Oh, Arthur, of course not! It only starts tomorrow!"
'Ehhh, looks like the arrogance disappeared pretty quickly, ahah!' Lucca thought to himself. "Looks like we can go to the dungeon this afternoon!" Lucca commented.
"Have you finished??? I have more things to do!" Elara said, irritated.
They all nodded, and she said, "Hand me the sheets, and you keep the schedules!" One by one, they handed over their sheets and returned to their seats. After that, Elara said, "With this done, that's all," and started to climb the stairs. Seeing this, everyone began to stand up and leave as well.
Lucca's group headed to the cafeteria, picked their lunch, and sat at one of the tables. They began talking about various topics until the conversation shifted to the class. "What did you think of the class?" Ana asked.
"I didn't think it was bad at all. We'll have excellent rivals for the best group competition," said Alice.
"I wasn't so sure," replied Lucca.
"Why do you say that?" Ana asked.
"Because our class has quite mediocre people!" Lucca replied, starting to think, 'Having a class with only one excellent and two epics, and the rest commons, is quite disappointing!'
"How do you know?" Alice asked.
"If you doubt me, let's see over the year!" Lucca replied.
"I just hope that's not true. I want to have a good fight!" Ivy commented. Hearing this, Nolan rolled his eyes.
"But why do you want to be the best group in the class?" Lucca asked Alice.
"Because I need to be!" Alice replied.
"Pressure from your parents?" Lucca asked.
"No, quite the opposite! She's crazy about wanting to be the best!" Ana replied with a tone of anger.
"Alright, finish eating! We need to go to the dungeon!" Alice said to change the conversation topic.
