Victor turned to look at me in the eye as if the answer was held in them. The question which Elias had asked was one I wasn't expecting but of course, it fueled my curiosity to know.
"What do you mean, young prince..?" Victor asked back, neutral about how his words were pronounced. "I am, but the king's adviser and can only be called upon when needed. Do you propose that I'm a snitch..?"
Goddess knows this wasn't what I wanted. Just why would these two pick this moment of all times to banter..? I felt disappointed, shaking my head drastically as I sighed.
"That's enough.." I half yelled, frustrated with how things unfolded. I made sure the place quieted down before proceeding to send Victor out. He's of no use now like he said.
