MARIES POV.
It's worse than I thought, harder than I imagined it to be.
Stuck in a strange room, a strange house, with no single fleck of light, but the continuous clasps of thunder, I had not imagined today being like this.
I stand in place expectant of the attack, the blunt force, yet nothing comes up. I try seeing through the night but my vision seems to have gotten weakened.
"Miss Marie?" the voice calls out to me, sending shades of relief down my skin. "Yes, I'm here," I answered in the voice of the lady who had tended to me earlier.
She lets on a flashlight which seemed to be staring at my face all along, I Pull myself from its effects before Taking slow steps away from her.
"What is happening?" I ask As I get out of the tub, hanging the towel around my chest firmly, scared that something else might go on.
