Chapter 137 - BEFORE THE BATTLE

The soft glow of dawn was just beginning to paint the sky.Kojo lay fast asleep, his chest rising and falling with each gentle breath. Mekna burst into the room and walked over to the bed ‎and shook Kojo his shoulder, persistent and insistent.

‎"Master Kojo," he said urgently, cutting through the quiet.

Kojo groaned and rolled over, his eyes heavy with sleep.Mekna kept trying to wake him.

‎"Master wake up.I'm sorry to wake you, but there's a problem."

Kojo mumbled something unintelligible, his mind still fogged with sleep. "Can't it wait?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

‎"It's an emergency," Mekna replied, his tone urgent. "An army of goblins has camped outside the city walls."

"Goblins?" Kojo repeated.

‎"Yes, goblins," Mekna confirmed.

With a sigh, Kojo closed his eyes and fell back onto the pillow.

" Master Kojo wake up this is serious." Kojo said shaking him.

Kojo just repeated Mekna's words in a sleepy tone, "Goblins... outside... city...", snoring softly.

Keo appeared beside Mekna, her eyes fixed on Kojo's sleeping form. "It's a serious matter, master. Please get up" she said, her voice firm.

‎"Can't they wait till the sun comes up?" he muttered, his voice fading into a soft snore.

‎Kojo continued to snore, oblivious to the gravity of the situation. Keo sighed, manifesting a sphere of cold water above Kojo. With a flick of her wrist, the water poured down on Kojo, drenching him.

Kojo jolted awake, sitting up with a start. He rubbed his eyes.

"What the—?" he asked looking at his two servants in confusion.

He suddenly became aware of what the two of them were telling him.

Goblins? Outside the city?" he asked, his voice filled with alarm.

" Why didn't you tell me sooner?" He said getting out of bed and looking out the window.‎Mekna and Keo exchanged a glance, both of them sighing in exasperation.

"Yes, A large army of them."Keo said answering him.

"And they're just sitting there?" Kojo asked, surprised. "Why aren't they attacking"

" We don't know, but we need to act now." Mekna said. Kojo who was only class in his undershorts made for the door. Keo stopped him.

"First, let's get you dressed and ready to face the situation."

In the Goblin camp

The flickering lamplight cast long, dancing shadows across the tent's interior, illuminating the scene of passion. Krone lay atop Hagar, the female ogre. Her skin, a light green with markings on he forehead under her white horns that ran along her horns doin her eyes to the side of her neck and under her breats, glistened with sweat, her eyes, usually filled with a predatory glint, now softened with desire.

‎ Krone was goblin warrior, with a large muscular physique, honed by countless battles, his massive form dwarfed only slightly by the vastness of the tent.Yet as he lay in top of his more humanoid partner, he was the dominant force, his movements deliberate and purposeful.

Hagar's breath quickened as Krone's touch ignited a fire within her. Her arms wrapped around his shoulders, her nails digging into his flesh, a testament to the intensity of her pleasure.A low moan escaped her lips as she arched her back, her body trembling with anticipation.

And then, it happened. A primal scream tore through the night, echoing through the tent. The climax was intense, a shared moment of ecstasy that transcended species and societal norms.

As the afterglow settled, Krone rolled off Hagar, his breath ragged. Krone lay in bed, his passion spent. Hagar hugged his left arm, her slender body trembling beside him.

Krone sat up and prepared to get off the bed but Hagar stopped him, wrapping her arms around him.

‎"Don't go yet," she purred, her voice a seductive whisper. "We haven't had a moment alone in ages.We should do it again," she whispered, her hot breath on his skin.

"I only indulged you this time because you asked, Hagar. You know I have responsibilities. Now, I need to oversee preparations for our invasion." Krone replied.

Hagar pouted, her full lips curling downward.

‎"Oh, please,as if that's more important than us. Your precious war can wait.We never have quality time together, Krone. My husband doesn't even know I'm here. We should take advantage of our time together."

She shifted her position so her body was pressing against his. He could feel her skin on his warm and moist.Krone couldn't deny the allure of her proposition.

‎"Speaking of your family," he began,‎"Your sister, Neph, was the one who led the group to attack the Mystium mine. She didn't return, which means she was killed. Aren't you angry? Don't you want vengeance? Shouldn't you be pushing for us to invade right now?"

Hagar shrugged, her expression indifferent.

‎"Neph was a pain in the ass, always uptight about everything. Now thatbitch is out of the picture,‎ I can sleep with whoever I want, without her judgmental glare."

Krone raised an eyebrow.

"You don't seem too upset about her death."

‎"Why should I be?" she retorted.

"And what about your other sister, Hiera? She didn't return with the others who infiltrated the city."

"I don't care about family. All I care about is myself. Well, if you're so concerned about her, perhaps you should consider taking down the city as a thanks for her death."

‎Hagar leaned in, her hand going down his abdomen to his groin. Krone let out a grunt as she found what she was looking for

. "Or maybe," she suggested, her voice dripping with malice her breath hot and heavy.

"You'd prefer to focus on something more pleasurable?"

With a swift movement, she straddled his lap, pushing him down on the bed.

"Hurry up," she urged, her voice a low growl. "I'm at my wit's end." She said pressimg her breast, her hand moving down her abdomen as she moaned softly.Krone's eyes, filled with a predatory glint, scanned her body, taking in every detail. He grinned at her desperation, her vulnerability.

‎ "I never thought I'd have the chance to make an ogre my woman," he thought.

‎"But if you're begging, I suppose I have no choice." He turned her down so he was the one now on top and spread her wide open.

Hagar's face lit up with a sly smile, and she wrapped her arms around Krone once more while his hands finding their way to her ample curves. As he entered her, a primal moan escaped her lips, a sound that filled the tent with a sense of raw, unbridled passion.

On the wall,Kojo scanned the army camp with his arms folded. It was foggy and the first beams of sunlight were beginning to permeate through the twilight. He Scanned the terrain and found out that the army was 70,000 strong.

" Where the hell did they get these numbers?" Kojo asked.

( Well, based on the information Hiera gave the leader of Decorum is a general so he's probably involved the army in this attack.)

" Which begs the question,is the Mongul, the goblin King the aware of whats happening or is this all the result of manipulation?"

( I can't answer that.)

" Hmm. And about the army itself if my speculation is true and he's built up numbers with people who don't even know of what's going on....."

( How are you going to deal with that)

" You talking like Im one of those MC's who stand for justice or some shit. A soldier is a soldier and regardless of whether you were following orders or not once you enter the battlefield it's killing or be killed. They're doing this for their race right? I'm also doing this to protect my home." Kojo glanced at the staircase leading to the top of the wall.

" They're not here yet huh?"

( Well this was on short notice. You have to give them a bit more time to prepare. Besides the enemy has shown no signs of attacking at the moment.)

" I know." Kojo looked at the army once more. With his enhanced eyesight,he could see the goblins preparing themselves, setting up tents and supplies while some where just waking up and washing their faces.

" This would have been the perfect time to attack." Kojo said walking towards the stairs then on second came back to the edge of the wall.

" Or..."

( That's just evil. Let the poor little things be.)

" They wouldn't let us rest if they had the opportunity. He thought with a grin. His eyes glowed red as he shot out a powerful wave of his ability over the goblin camp.

Fear.
