Kojo raised his head and looked up at the VIP section and saw the girls waving at him. He noticed movement from the corner of his eye and looked to see Yuki also waving at him.He waved back at them with a smile.
" Quite the line up this year." Sharone said
" Meh,we all know Sasha gonna kill them all." Koniko's said.Calling the waiter over.
" I hope Kojo will be alright"Lin said with concern.
" Relax,he's tough,he even fought The Archsaint on equal footing. He'll be fine so stop worrying." Koniko said before biting int a huge piece of meat that she ordered.
" I hope so" Adriana said.
" Don't worry dear ,he's going to be just fine." Duke Philip assured his daughter." You should be more worried about the other competitors"
" It's unusual for you to just choose someone without going through the due processes." The King said."Anything I should know, brother?"
" There's no Foul play here Gorges. I just want to give the young fellow a chance to shine and outshine the others,yours included" Duke Philip replied
"Is that right? Well I don't know what you see in him but he better put on a good show"The king said.
" Alright ladies and gentlemen the match starts now" sanh said. A silver disc appeared under him and he floated above the arena.
The two combatants stood at opposite sides and glared at each other.
" What are you looking at you filth. Have you never set eyes on a creature as dazzling as myself" Axle said with an air of superiority.
" Oh I'm about to dazzle the crowd."Kwabra charged at him." By spilling your blood" he yelled.
" Such a grotesque figure. Your mother obviously didn't care for you properly
Then again it's not her fault. She was probably to poor to do so and had to resort to harlotry to get by." Axle said shaking his head with pity.
Kwabra jumped at him.
"I'ma kill you for bringing my family into this you piece of shit" Kwabra roared bringing down a giant hammer which appeared in his hands on Axle,shaking the arena.
"I don't even need to be serious when fighting someone as ugly as you"
The dust cleared revealing Axle who was standing on the hammer.
Magic circles appeared around Axle and metal spikes shit at him from all directions but he dodged all of them,moving as if he was dancing.Kwabra launched him into the air by throwing the hammer up.Then he jumped up at him being backed by his metal spikes.
"So lame"Axle said lazily sending Kwabra into the ground with a powerful gust of wind.
He landed gently on the ground.
"Well,this is a tournament. I think I'll show of my superior skills just a bit.He said as a rapier appeared in his hands."I hope you can at least beautify me more. After all it is the reason why lowlifes like you were brought into this world, to amplify my splendor. And you shall do that with your life"
Kwabra charged at him."Hey,more action less talk" He said making a swing at Axle but his Hammer broke against a wind barrier axle created. He smirked before making a jab t Kwabra Head but he flipped back and dodged.Axle attacked him before he'd even landed knocking him into the arena wall. Kwabra charged at Axle with a metal mace and the two exchanged blows, separating and charging at each other again.
Axle yawned."Is this really the best you can do."He asked gracefully dodging Kwabra swings, dealing more damage to his opponent.
Kwabra realized that he was loosing while Axle hadn't taken any damage at all. He then made a sting and missed on propose. Axle stepped foward to deliver a fatal blow. Just then Kwabra dropped the mace and made a Dagger which he swung at Axle. Axle jumped ba k just in time. He touched his cheek realizing the blade had grazed him.
"How dare a pitiful insect like yourself create a blemish in my perfect form"He yelled.
Kwabra jumped at him from behind raising a swordA blast of wind blew him back upward.
"Let's put an end to this boring battle" Axle said,Disappearing as a blur that moved around Kwabra.
".....what....?" Was all kwabra could say before he got sliced to pieces.
Axle reappeared.
"At the very least your death shine more light in my excellence and superiority" He said walking away.
Thaw crowd cheered.
"And we have a winner. Axle from Onyx"Zang announced."The victor can now take anything if his opponent "
"No thank you I'm alright. Besides there's nothing attractive about that brute."Axle said.
"Our next battle is between Atari Kojo and Mekna."Zang said.
"Turns out that bastard wasn't all talk. " He thought as he moved toward the centre of the arena.
"Vanish" Zang said. The remains of Kwabra body dissapeared.
"Speech Magic. I see so that what he meant by protection " He walked passed Axle and noticed he was eyeing him with interest. He ignored and came to a stop a few meters away from his opponent sizing him up.
"This will be a piece of cake"
