1st day of 9th

Indistinct noises come to an end

All:Good morning sir

Vinu : Good morning everyone.Sit down.Im Vinu your class teacher again. Welcome back to school and the class.

Vinu: So we will start by our second lesson of geography. The earth isolate vast that we need a mathematical way to measure and locate places on earth. Latitudes and longitudes were devised by Erathosthenes, father of geography to measure and locate the places. The latitudes ate imaginary horizontal lines and longitudes are vertical lines these intersect and form boxes called geographic grid (a bit of explanation and doubts).

A new girl enters to the class. She was a thin, fair, beautiful girl. Our main character Ridham sees her and feels uncomfortable seeing her. He feels that why he is so average and she is so cool (common adolescent thoughts).

Vinu: Come in. Introduce yourself.

Hargon:Good morning sir. Im Hargon from punjab.

Teaching continues Ridham stares at her. After a few minutes the class end there comes another teacher and enquires about the new girl. There comes lunch break after a few classes. All boys go except Ridham and as Hargon is new she is left alone by the remaining girls. Ridham sees his chance and seizes it.

Ridham: H-H-Hi I'm Ridham

Hargon : Hi. I think you know my name (arrogantly)

She goes, Ridham feels happy for his first talk.

After School while boarding the school bus,Ridham notices that Hargon is in the same bus as him. There will not be any free seat, so Ridham stands and gives place to Hargon. Hargon still remains same with her expressions.

SCENE 2

Ridham's house. A study room covered in blue paint. Ridham banging his study desh after remembering his first day of school in 9th standard.

Ridham's mom: stop banging or I'll bang you!

Rifham stops without hesitation and has an weird look on his face 😩.

SCENE 3

Hargon's house a red painted hall with four people.

Hargon: Sir taught us geographic grid in the first period.

Hargon's mom and dad nodding. Hargon's brother playing.

Scene 4

Next day school 9th A, Maths class

Ridham seeing Hargon with all of the class (class has started admiring and liking her). Hargon notices it and calls the teacher.

Hargon: ma'am!

All the students turn to the board.

Teacher: Yes?

Hargon: Please explain the identity (a+b)²=a²+2ab+b² once again.

Teacher: Okay, pay attention.

After a few minutes the bell rings, the teacher goes.

SCENE 5

School,9th A, Day of Guru Poornima (a full moon day on which teachers are worshipped). All the class line up, boys to touch the left leg and girls to touch right leg of their class teacher and take blessings. Ridham after counting the numbers of student in each line goes back so as to touch the feet of Vinu at the same time as Hargon. He touches her to accidentally and says sorry. After the traditional -kind of- ceremony, class wish the teachers...

Students: Happy Guru Poornima teacher!

Teacher: Thank you, sit down.

Teacher tea he's and goes same happens in other periods.

SCENE 6

School, 9th A. It had been two weeks since Hargon had been absent. Class also considered she left. But then one day she comes ! Rather shaggy than before. She didn't speak with anyone in the class. After couple of days there was physical education. Ridham had been sleeping in the name of stomach ache and Hargon had leg pain so she didn't go to PT but they were not left alone there was Naveen. They were either sleeping or completing their works. The PT teacher came and asked them the reason why they were there.

PT teacher: why are you here?

Naveen (giggling): I have head ache.

PT teacher: Then how are you smiling go play.

Naveen goes.

PT teacher: You?

Hargon: Sir I have leg pains

PT teacher: why is he sleeping (pointing Ridham)

Hargon: Sir he has stomach ache.

PT teacher: Okay (walking away)

Ridham wakes up right after the teacher goes and after a couple of minutes he wrote on the board 'Why don't you speak' she instead wrote 'I am not good at speaking to people I have social anxiety.' Ridham looks at her she continues I was absent for a month for a surgery, I have lost my memories, when I met my parents, after surgery, '. She starts speaking.

Hargon: they would be so friendly everytime so I accepted that they were my parents.

(Awkward silence)

Ridham: How do you know us ( referring to the class)

Hargon: The way they used to call me 'Hargon' I thought they know me and I have been here before.

Ridham: Oh, so what you gonna do know? Recall old memories or build up new ones

Hargon: I would do both!

Both became friends without needing to say anything

Ridham: What would you do at first?

Hargon: After the accident I would like to make 40 new friends. And it will not be easy as I afraid of having conversations with new people ( meaning her social anxiety).

At this point she notices him and becomes like dumb again.
