Ding silently watched their interaction as he sipped from his own glass.
Lian sat at the stairs leading to the garden Ding's dogs on either side of him. The two dogs lay on fours their heads on Lian. He slowly stroked their heads as his thoughts wandered.
Ever since the night Li had dropped him home, he had disappeared and barely texted him.
