Ding's eyes shot open as he sat up breathing heavily. He looked around him and realised he was in his room. He wiped the sweat on his forehead and took in deep breathes to calm his thundering heart.
After much thought, he got down from the bed," ... Lian."
With a hand clutched onto his chest, he dashed out of the room and headed towards Lian's room. He burst through the door and Lian looked up startled.
"Master? What are you doing here?"
Ding rushed forward and threw his arms around him wrapping him in a tight embrace. Lian's body stiffened and Ding rested his head on his shoulder breathing in the fabric softener on his clothes.
"M..master?"
"Let me stay like this for a bit."
He tightened his grip on his waist and Lian slowly ran his hand down his back.
"He's trembling so much. I wonder what happened to make him tremble this much," he thought to himself and relaxed into Ding's embrace.
