Lian shook his head," No no... that's not what I... I was just..."
Ding raised his hand and Lian flinched closing his eyes. When he felt something warm on his head, he opened his eyes and looked at Ding who was petting him.
"I was joking. Don't be so scared. Come on let's go."
He took Ming's leash and walked ahead of him. Lian stood frozen for a moment, his free hand touching the place Ding had touched before.
"Hey! You coming?"
"Coming!"
Lian rushed towards Ding and together they walked out of the compound. After walking for a few minutes, Lian found a boulder under a tree and sat down stretching his legs.
"Am exhausted! How much longer are we going to take?"
Ding leaned against the tree trunk and watched him from the corner of his eye.
"Tired already? We've only walked for a few minutes."
"It's only been a few minutes? Why does it feel like hours."
Ding's phone vibrated and he excused himself.
"Hello?"
