SAMANTHA
The activities lined up for today at the office were very special to me. The marketing team led by me decided to visit at least two charity outlets as the end of the year was fast approaching.
Charity always held a special place in my heart. I just never had the funds to see it through. I was either drowning in debt or paying an arm or a leg for basic survival needs. Reflecting on these moments were the times I agree that in every bad situation, there's always a tiny reason to be grateful because maybe, just maybe you could have it worse.
We had already discussed logistics and everything was already set for this wholesome day.
I was kitted up in skinny jeans and a pretty loose sky-blue top bearing the company's initials boldly in front.
