" RUN JULIE!! As fast as you can go. Run and don't look back " my mother told me as we heard the blaring alarm.
"We are under attack! Round off as many experiments as you can " the voices were getting louder to our cage.
" What!!. Noo I can't leave you mom". As I helped her up to her feet, her wounds proving to be a hindrance .
With tears streaming down her face she turned me to her " Listen to me Julie! Once the gates are opened, I want you to run. I'll be right behind you; no matter what you hear , no matter what you see , keep going…Live Julie ; live a life filled with love and happiness for the both of us and always remember that I love you. " Her warm hands caressing my cheeks for the last time.
I knew this was the last time I would see her, feel her and listen to her melodious voice try to lure me to sleep after being poked and prodded by needles.
" Promise me Julie , promise me you'll keep going , you keep pushing" We were out of time
" I promise… I promise even when life gets tough, I'll keep living it for you… Just for you… I love you mom with every fiber of my being and with every breathe I take ". With tears and snort streaming down my face , I gave her one last bone crushing hug.
"NOW!! JULIE GOO!!" As soon our gate opened , once I saw the white lights , I bolted with everything I had . I didn't turn back when I heard the armed scientists shout , I didn't turn back when I heard my mother's ear-piercing scream and I certainly didn't turn back when I heard the thumping of a body amidst the chaos.
" Get Her!" That command made me go faster even with tears making it difficult to see , I kept going determined to uphold my promise. I kept running past the all out battle between wolves and scientists. The wolves were slashing and clawing while the scientist in return were shooting wolfsbane bullets. Bodies of both humans and wolves were dropping as every angle I looked but that didn't deter me .
I felt hope blossom in my chest when I saw the exit of the large experiment center , when I saw that trees and sunlight for the first time in a long time but that hope was dashed when I felt a bullet filled with wolfsbane pierce through my abdomen . I crumbled to the floor as a scientist hovered over me with the nastiest smirk and a loaded gun.
I willed my legs to crawl and I prayed to anything listening to help me. I didn't want to die just yet , I wanted to live for my mother…. I didn't want my mom's sacrifice to be in vain . Something heard my prayers because as soon as the scientist aimed his gun at me to deliver the final shot , a giant black wolf harshly shoved into him . I watched on the brink of unconsciousness as the wolf pulverized the scientist, taking out an anger wedged deep within on the man's lifeless body .
I finally succumbed to the darkness calling my name as the wolf turned his attention to me with it's snarling fangs and bloodshot eyes.

" We attack from the west wing and the north wing" I addressed the warriors both women and men who stood at attention before me under the gaze of the moon.
" This is the moment we have been waiting for… This mad men who call themselves scientists have forcefully kidnapped our men , women and children. We have lost our mates before we could find them to the hands of this brutal animals, then they say we are the animals!! . We have heard stories of the inhumane treatments our people are made to endure and we say NO MORE!!. No more would our children live in fear of being taken at any moment. No more would we be sitting ducks just waiting for the slaughter . Our once peaceful community has been tarnished . We stretched out an Olive Branch to the humans and this is how they repay us!!. By kidnapping our people for their experiments. Today we attack and take back what was stolen from, Our freedom and security!!. Today we show them who we are and we stand here ready to risk our lives for the safety and protection of our children. We fight as heroes and we would certainly die as heroes dragging as much of these mad men as we can straight to the fury gates of hell. Warriors , I beseech you , if anyone here is having second thoughts ; stand out and I assure you no harm would come to you . This is our greatest tribulation yet and with the help of the moon goddess we would surely come out victorious..…. So once again my fellow brothers and sisters , I ask , Are you ready!!!"
Roars and Growls could be heard from the multitude that lined the enormous training grounds of the Royal palace. Warriors from different packs had travelled to the royal palace for one cause and one cause only , to out an end to the era of their people being experimented on . Packs who were at loggerhead with each other had put aside their strife and became united to end a threat. A threat that plagued them all.
" I ,Knox Black, your chosen Alpha king would lead the attack . It is a great honor to fight with you and to die with you…. NOW SHIFT!!".
I looked on as the painful breaking of bones could be heard , as wolves shook off the shift and howled at the moon as though asking the moon goddess for strength to overcome this tribulation.
I turned and nodded to my Gamma who looked on to the sea of angry wolves. We had discussed beforehand what should be done incase I do not return.
" I leave the pack and all werewolf business under your watchful eyes. Protect and guide them as you would do me. Be a comfort to does who would surely mourn and a shoulder to those who would cry. They are your sheep as you are their shepherd, lead them on to greater pastures... Do you understand" I asked him
I could see it in his eyes he wanted to argue , he wanted to question my command as he wanted to be where the action was , helping to take down as much men as possible. But he knew better than to go against me
" Yes Alpha… Do not worry , I would do as you have commanded" he replied bowing his head in respect.
I let out an ear deafening growl as I aggressively broke the barriers of human and became wolf . As we marched on into the dead of the night , we knew this would be a battle to remember.
