Chapter 73 - Ch- 73

Soon, we arrived where Mom, Aunt, and everyone else were gathered, enjoying the view while indulging in various foods and drinks.

"Oh my gosh, it's truly breathtaking! I never expected to see something like this," Alas exclaimed, captivated by the falling raindrops that turned purple upon touching the seawater. The sight was absolutely mesmerizing.

"Really... It's so incredibly beautiful..." Celestia added, her eyes fixed on the spectacle outside the glass windows. Their exclamations drew the attention of Mom and Aunt, who gestured for them to join them.

"Indeed, it is quite beautiful," Lily agreed, sharing in the admiration of the view. As we joined Mom and Aunt, Alas took a seat beside Varenasa and Lilith, while Lily, Kavya, and Celestia settled together.

"Do you enjoy the view?" Varenasa inquired with a smile, to which everyone nodded affirmatively.

"Yes, and the purple hue makes it even more captivating than I imagined," Alas replied, echoing the sentiment.

"Purple is your favorite color, darling?" Varenasa asked softly, appearing thoughtful as Alas confirmed with a nod. While they conversed, one of the staff attending to our needs remarked, "It's nothing extraordinary, really. The rain has subsided for now, but during a severe storm, it's as if we're in another world entirely."

"It's so refreshing to be here," Lilith murmured, her voice soft enough for only Alas and Varenasa to hear. "We should all make an effort to escape our hectic lives and immerse ourselves in nature at least once. I'm truly grateful for this opportunity." They nodded in agreement.

Soon, we were all engaged in conversation while enjoying the delicious food and drinks. As we savored the moment, Alas continued to gaze out the window, pondering what the scene would look like from above.

Just as he was gazing out the window, Varenasa whispered in Alas's ear.

"Baby," she murmured softly, drawing his attention.

"What is it, Mom?" Alas inquired, turning to face her. Lilith sat beside Varenasa, observing the exchange.

"Baby, did you enhance your aunt's powers?" she asked in a hushed tone. Alas realized he forgot about it because of this breathtaking view.

"Ah, yes, I did. I almost forgot," Alas admitted as he immediately reaching for Lilith's hand taking her soft slander hand in his . "I need to check on her."

Lilith acquiesced, allowing him to take her hand on his without any resistance. With a focused intent, Alas activated his infinite healing ability. A warm, soothing aura enveloped Lilith, bringing an immediate sense of calm, relaxation, and security in Lilith's mind and body. She was feeling so calm and safe as Alas hold her hand. She never experience this comfort in her entire life. Her entire body yearned to seek comfort in Alas's hug, but she managed to suppress the overwhelming urge.

'Oh, my this feeling. I.. I never felt this comfortable and safe with anyone else in my entire life.. ' She thought as she appear normal eating and drinking her meal, while secretly holding Alas's hand tightly.

" Aunt, your body seems to okay. Are you feeling any type of coldness in your body..? " Alas asked as he confirmed that there is no flaw in her. He was thinking that , it's all because his calculation was very good this time, it wouldn't go wrong.

Just as he asked, Lilith thought of telling him that, she is feeling very well and powerful like never before in her entire life, but than she remember if she told him that she is feeling okay than he might pull his hand away so she decided to lie a little and said.

" Anhh.. I am feeling okay and powerful than before little Alas. But a bit of coldness in my heart , it's freezing inside.. " She said as she coughed a little.

" Hah.. Really..? I see don't worry, my healing skill, will heal you entirely no matter what... So just bear a little.. " Alas comforted her as he thought.

'How is that possible, feeling coldness in heart, I thought this time I did a great job in calculations but seems like I am failed, that's why my system also had flaw. What a waste.. Even as a such a powerful entity I am really bad at math, this word shouldn't get out... ' He thought as he continue to hold her hand, while gently rubbing her hand's back from his thumb time to time.

Just as they were busy in this, Varenasa was thinking to herself, as she saw Alas holding Lilith's hand so lovingly. She thought as her gaze met their holding hands, every now and then.

' what is happening, why I am feeling little bad , seeing Alas holding sister's hand like this..? I didn't feel something like this, before. I think I am feeling this after , Baby kissed me in the hotel room that day... Don't tell me is that possible that I am feeling jealous ... No.. No that's not possible I and Sister make a rule to share... ' Varenasa thought as she takes a bite of her meal from fork as she wishpered once again in Alas's ears.

"Ah, baby," she called to him once more. Alas, immersed in mental calculations, was brought back to reality by her words.

"Yes, Mom?" he replied, taking a sip of water.

"You know, I'm feeling a bit disheartened," she said with a sigh. Alas looked at her inquiringly.

"Why is that?" he asked.

"Well, you're my son, but you enhanced Sister's powers first," she teased with a smile. Lilith glanced at her discreetly but remained composed. Alas chuckled in response.

"Oh really?" he teased Varenasa.

She continued, "Yes..." with a pout. Lilith observed her acting.

"Oh, come on, Mom. There's no need to worry. The reason I didn't enhance your powers first is that you're mortal and without abilities. If I were to use the same process for you, you would never be able to catch up with anyone, not even Big Sister, Sister, or Aunt. That's why I'll enhance your powers last, but in a different way. There are numerous methods to accelerate your abilities so you can eventually match the others. So don't be upset; I will help you, but we'll focus on it when we return home. Do you understand?" Alas explained. Varenasa's eyes sparkled as she asked,

"You're going to use a special method for me? Oh, I'm so happy! I think it's worth the wait," she said with a radiant smile.

"Yes, it's definitely worth the wait. But you know, Mom, I consider Aunt like my own mother. So you can't say something like that, do you understand?" Alas said with a smile. Lilith, who had been listening, felt a sense of happiness that Alas was standing up for her. She joined the conversation with a smile, replying,

"Yes, Sister, you can't say something like that. You know I'm also like his mother. He can be as open with me as he is with you. Isn't that right, Alas? Aren't you like my own son, little Alas?" Lilith asked with a beautiful smile, looking at Alas.

Alas agreed, nodding.

"Indeed, Aunt," he replied. As soon as he did, Varenasa immediately said...

"Oh, come on, Sister. I was just teasing," Varenasa replied calmly with a laugh. Lilith mirrored her laughter, saying, "Yes, I know."

Meanwhile, Lily, Kavya, and Celestia were engaged in their own conversation.

"Kavya, it's the perfect weather to get wet in the rain. It feels so nostalgic, and swimming in the rain would be like being in heaven... Has anyone ever tried swimming in the rain?" Lily asked, gazing out the window.

"Ah, yes, it sounds amazing, but I've never swam in the rain," Kavya replied, continuing to eat.

"I mean, I'd love to try swimming in the rain too. But yeah, there's definitely something nostalgic about getting soaked in the rain drops," Celestia agreed.

Just as they were chatting, one of the female staff members addressed the group.

"Varenasa, Lilith, and everyone, would any of you like to attend a party after dinner? We can all enjoy ourselves. Plus, there are new and exciting types of wine, cocktails, and other drinks at the bar. What do you think?" Cherry asked with a playful smile, her gaze fixed on Lilith and Varenasa, anticipating their response as the main guests.

"Wow, that sounds fun. But I have to decline this generous offer. I'm not feeling well today, so how about tomorrow? I'm just going to rest in my room. If you want, you all can still enjoy yourselves," Lilith replied, politely declining despite the appeal of the party. She had something more exciting planned for her room and had already mentioned feeling unwell to Alas, so couldn't accept.

"Are you okay? Do you need anything? Just let any of us know if you're not feeling well," Luna offered immediately.

"Oh, no, it's not that bad. I'll be fine after some rest," Lilith reassured, secretly glancing at Alas, who was looking at Luna.

"Okay, but call us if you need anything," Luna said.

"Sure, thanks," Lilith replied.

"Hmm, so Lilith is out. How about you, Varenasa?"

"Well, I'll pass as well," Varenasa declined. One by one, everyone else followed suit, opting to attend the party tomorrow instead of today. Cherry's enthusiasm waned slightly, but she understood their decision and agreed to reschedule.
