Kerin looked terrified of whatever he saw in the next hallway, but the kid refused to show his fears in front of Sara and her friends.
He wanted to show himself as an independent young man Sara could depend on. But so far, he has not demonstrated an excellent example of himself.
Kerin blushed once he realised everyone was looking at him with an awkward expression.
And then, Lea let out a startling laugh.
"Don't laugh too loud, or you will attract unwanted attention. Those people are in the hallway, waiting for us to come out. Do you want to get us caught?"
Kerin asked with a startled voice while looking at Lea's amused face.
He felt that Lea was not listening to him, but he still wanted to try and quieten her.
"This kid is amusing, Sara. Just where did you find this kid from?"
Lea asked, ignoring whatever Kerin said to ask Sara this question.
