Lea's announcement caused the dining hall to go quiet.
Everyone looked at her with a shocked expression; some people even fainted.
They had not expected to see Lea again, much less in such a short amount of time. She had been taken into custody by the scavengers, after all.
"L-Lea, you are alive? Oh god! Are you alright, and did you come back in one piece? What happened? What did those scavengers do to you? I was about to call an emergency, but you-"
The other teachers looked worried about Lea's condition, and they quickly breathed a sigh of relief.
Lea's death would have caused their reputation to fall and their jobs to be fortified. They were too afraid of what would happen next.
They were all too busy sighing in relief that they did not hear Lea's announcement or how she brought a kid out from behind her body.
