"Excuse me, but are you alright? You look as if you are in pain. Is there anything I can do for you?"
The nurse who opened the door asked as soon as she noticed Maria clutching her head in pain. Her job was to help people who were in pain, and the noise wanted to help.
Luckily, she had healing powers and tried to touch Maria with her green healing glow.
"Don't touch me. Please, leave me alone or else…"
Maria did not finish her words, but her eyes glowed other-worldly. The nurse was an experienced medic, so she recognised the signs of rift illness.
"Calm down, miss. I know you are going through a hard time right now, but you need to take a deep breath and breathe. No one will hurt you here, so that you can relax now."
The nurse was a big help in calming Maria down. The more Maria followed these instructions, the better she breathed. She had finally calmed down once a whole minute had passed.
