Sara looked at Emily's angry profile and knew she could not stop Emily from exploding. She could only hope that Emily did not do something she would regret later.
"All of you! Shut up. Are you even listening to yourselves talking? Lucky this and lucky that! You were the ones who pushed Lea into that situation. It is all your fault; something like this happened first."
Students shut their mouths as soon as they heard Sara's outburst. They had not meant to make her angry, but her words caused them all to feel embarrassed about what they were doing.
Many students looked away out of shame and guilt at being called out. And Lea ended up being the one to calm Emily down.
