Even if anyone wanted to stop Lea, it was too late. She was out of the door and headed toward her room before anyone could open their mouths.
Emily was pacing before the door and waiting for Lea to arrive.
"Lea, how did the meeting go? Did you get into trouble? Are we going to head home now?"
Emily asked in a single breath, and it was a miracle that she did not need to breathe to babble all this.
As much as Lea was impressed by this, she calmed Emily down by placing her hand on her shoulder.
"Emily, we will be heading home now. What we came here to achieve has already been done. Pack your bags because we will leave in an hour."
Something dropped on the ground, and the sound of glass breaking reached Lea's ears.
She looked up and saw Adrian looking at her with a betrayed look.
"We are leaving? Why are we leaving so soon? I have not even made up with Risha yet. I cannot leave yet."
