Lea's gaze continued to unnerve Adrian, and he felt he would be in danger if he were not careful around her.
That nervousness made him open his mouth and reply to Lea's sentiments.
"There is nothing for you to worry about. What I choose to do in my free time is my business. I promise that no danger will come to you because of my actions. Is that not good enough for you?"
Adrian asked as he looked at Lea with a sure face.
The confidence on his face assured Lea that Adrian believed what he was saying.
'So much confidence. Should I try and shatter some of it?'
Lea was about to do something when the loud bell rang, causing the building to shake.
Emily dashed out of her room in whatever half-dressed state she was in to check what had happened, and she was immediately met with an amused and ashamed gaze looking back at her.
"What just happened? Why was it so loud suddenly? Are we under attack or something?"
