Sonia signed the last page of a compiled file after giving it a thorough read. Then she placed the pen down and glanced at her phone when it lit up. She already new who the sender was and the content of the message, but she still read it.
"Take a break."~ Luke
She looked at the time before standing to stretch. "I guess habits when ingrained really die hard," she said. Ever since she was young, Luke had been taking care of her so she's gotten used to it.
When she came out of her office, she saw Idris still absorbed on his computer.
"Idris, it's break time."
"Idris," she said again since he did not respond.
"Yes, madam?" He looked at her, and then at the time before standing up.
"Join me for snacks. I want to ask you something."
"Yes, madam."
They sat across each other in the sofa at the side of her office. Right in time, a personnel from the company cafeteria came over to serve their snacks.
