Idris shifted his gaze to Kai, who was looking at him.
"Why does he seem more dangerous than last time/ She seems paler than usual," they said at the same time.
They heard each other clearly, but they did not want to delve into each other's statements.
"Those are?" Kai asked when he noticed the guard was holding two small boxes tied with a ribbon.
"Eclairs and galette, I think they are for him." Idris looked at Zach again. Then he shivered when he felt an oppressive, heavy, and ominous aura coming from him. He had never felt such fear-evoking presence before it made him want to run, but when he glanced at Kai who seemed unaffected, he stood his ground.
"You can go, sir. I'll take care of her," Kai said when Idris glanced at Sonia with fear and worry.
"Then I'll leave her in your care. Keep her safe."
Idris left the mansion while clutching his elbows.
