Sonia smelled the roses. "I'll keep it."
Zach frowned. "Why? If you like roses, I'll tell the spirit to fill the dimensional space with various colors, so you can look at them every day."
He turned one of his rings. When he did, his pouch came out.
It wasn't large, only enough for his hand to fit. However, when he dug inside, he grabbed a mixture of gold coins, jewels and accessories made of the most expensive minerals. "Here, I can buy you more, so let's just throw that away since we do not know who it came from, or do you?"
Sonia eye's constricted. 'His voice, the way he pronounced every word, and his facial expression right now… his starting to bare his fangs.'
Sonia placed the bouquet on the table and slowly slid her hands on the sides of his face. He stepped back but she took two steps forward before leaning in to whisper in his ear.
"Zach," she said in her naturally soft and sultry voice. "Are you aware of how you are behaving?"
