Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Dreams shattered!

In a bustling ancient town full of mortals, a relativity handsome man with sparkling silver hair could be seen strutting through a street in dirty rags, the smell of alcohol oozing off him.

Everywhere he passed people pointed at him and whispered to each other , some even laughed at him l.

I know what ur thinking, maybe he is a hidden master.Well if you were thinking that your incredibly wrong.

This mystery man is our protagonist Jaing Ning who has recently woken up in this strange new world.

Jaing Ning's eyes were currently devoid of all life,he had no emotion on his face however anyone looking could tell he was incredibly depressed. He was currently thinking of his life choices and about what happened three days ago.

"Uhh .. where am I?"

Jaing Ning struggled to open his eyes, only to find himself in a dark room. He struggled to adjust his eyes to the darkness , in that struggle he attempted to find his phone ; Like any reasonable man born in the 20th century would only to find it gone. After noticing he couldn't find it he sat up and looked around barely able to make out his surroundings.

As he struggled in the dark room , a foggy memory overcame him , a memory in which he really wanted to forgot. Although he could not remember much , he did know one thing . He had died .

"What sin did I commit to deserve such a unlucky death"

■Authers Note- Read synopsis to find out how he died■

But before he could lament at his untimely demise and figure out his situation He felt a splitting headache overcome him.

"AHHHHHHHH"

Jaing Ning relized that he had transmigrated and been reborn.Memory's that belonged to what he could only presume belonged to this bodys pervious owner flooded into him.The previous occupant of his body coincidentally shared the same name as him and was currently 14 years old. Most importantly he was the eldest young master of the somewhat prominent jiang clan of fallen oak city.

Jaing Ning struggled to digest the memory's in his head at first. But after an hour or so that pain had turned into excitement.

He found out that unlike his previous boring world where he could only dive into the internet to relieve his boredom. This world had almost no law's and was survival of the fittest. You cultivate to immortallity in this world and live forever.

Jaing Ning was now breathing heavily and thought to himself 'Oh Gods above, Budda and heavenly immortals you haven't forsaken me yet. I actually woken up in a Cultivation world'

As he continued to look at his memorys about immortal Cultivation he found out that like most novels he read there were many different realms.

Jaing Ning found that there were four realms the original occupant of his body was aware of: Qi refinement realm, Foundation Establishment Realm, Soaring Pillar Realm and finally the Golden Core Realm.

After he steadied his mind and stopped daydreaming about his future path of cultivation,Jaing Ning began to figure out his current situation and more about this world.

He found that this world was split into many different continents , the one he was currently in, is named the Azure Cloud continent .It is split into five regions namely; The Eastern region,The Western region , The central region , The Northen region and finally the Southern Region.

Fallen Oak city was in the Southern Region and was under the jurstication of the Liang Family. The Liang Family which was one of the many major powers in the vast region, ruled over approximately 12 city and set there law's.

It was also due to the Laing family that he hadn't began to cultivate despite being 14.The Liang Family laws stated no one below the age of 14 living in one of there city's could cultivate unless you joined their Family, then you could cultivate from the age of 10 however you would become a servant of the thier family for the rest of your life unless you broke into the Foundation Establishment Realm and became an elder , the previous Jaing Ning refused to be a servant and decided to wait until 14 in order to cultivate.

The Jaing clan was one of the main clans that settled in the Fallen Oak City. Along with the Yin and Su clans. The Jaing clan was the richest out of the three clans and had not only strong financial power , but also strong millinery power. The clan had gave birth to many cultivators , with the head , my farther being at the 8th stage of Qi refinement! Apart from our ancestor who was at the first stage of the Foundation Establishment Realm and in seclusion he was the strongest!

Jaing ning reflected of his clans state with scorn.

'8th stage of Qi refinement.'

'Isnt that just a beginner? How are we even classed as one of the three main clans in fallen oak city'

However as if his brain responded to his mockery his next memory made him look like an idiot, In this world one's Family's or Sects status would be decided by the strongest cultivators present in the Sect's or Family.

The Jaing clan couldn't even be called a family however they had an ancestor in the Foundation Establishment Realm therefore they were a Foundation Establishment clan and could be considered strong in Fallen Oak City. However most major powers had multiple Foundation Establishment Elders.

In fact the Liang Family which ruled 100's of city's was a Soaring Pillar Family which only had 6 Foundation Establishment Elders and 1 Soaring Pillar Ancestors.Even then it was considered one of the major powers of the Southern Region and had a heritage of thousands of years.

From this it could be seen that the Foundation Establishment cultivators where very sought after and very powerful therefore a 8th level Qi refinement cultivator could be considered pretty strong in a small city such as theirs.

After he became aware of his situation, he became excited to start his journey to immortallity as the previous body owner had just come of age and could start to cultivate according to the Liang Family laws.

"Previous other Jaing Ning although I don't know how you died I promise to take care of your family and live well in your body"

However he couldn't keep that promise because everything went downhill from here ...

Jaing Ning heard screams coming from outside and felt the thick stench of blood enter his nostrils.

He went outside only to see three people in the sky fighting and was instantly shocked because only Foundation Establishment Cultivators could mobilze the spirtual energy around them in order to fly.

After looking closely at the three figures a solemn expression appeared on his face. One of them was the Jaing clans ancestor and he was currently fighting two other Foundation Establishment cultivators and from the looks of it he was loosing.

Before he could ask what was wrong a bloody hand grabbed him, Jaing Ning felt a cold touch on his delicate skin.He turned around only to be met with his new father which he hadn't even talked to yet, he was missing an arm with a bloody hole in his chest.

Jaing Ning felt something wet on his face and realised salty tear drops where flowing down from his face however before he could gather his thoughts his new father spoke to him for the first and last time in a horse cold voice.

"RUN Ning'er take this space pouch and live my son"

His father used the last of his spiritual energy and activated a Level 2 mid-grade talisman known as the thousand mile talisman which could allow one person to teleport 1000 miles away.

It had to be known that this talisman was worth almost all of the Jaing clan's income for one year which was about 10000 low-grade spirit stones and the Jaing clan only had one in there possession which shows how much his new father loved him.

(2 hours later)

Jaing Ning woke up on a wide grassy plain right next to a road made of gravel and dirt.Tears fell from his face for about five minutes until Jaing Ning got up off the floor, his body radiated killing intent, he only just transmigrated and hadn't even begun to cultivate but his whole family was killed and he directly became an orphan. He thought 'What kind of insane author could write such a goddamn plot?"

However he suddenly realized that he shouldn't have angered the author because he saw two burly men approach him with sabers.

"Hey Kid, Your really unlucky you see me and my buddy here are out of money and would like to ask you 'kindly' to borrow us some unless you don't want something unfortunate to happen to you'

He cursed silently to himself "F**K"

Jaing Ning reached into his pocket and realised all he had was the space pouch pouch his father gave him, He sneakily looked inside and saw a pile of low-grade spirit stones,A bottle of low-grade level 1 Healing dew pills and a couple of books. He quickly took out the medicinal pills and placed one of them in his mouth whilst the two men werent looking then looked at both men and pulled out the low-grade spirit stones

"Senior,I will be honest I only have a few low-grade spirit stones I'll give them to you, I'm just a weak mortal please spare me Senior.

The man reached out and grabbed the low grade spirit stones out of Jaing Ning's hand and began to walk away.

"Many thanks Seni.."

Before Jaing Ning could finish his sentence, one of the burly men punched him straight in the chest.

"Have a nice trip Kid"

Jaing Ning spit out a large mouthful of blood and began to loose consciousness but before he could, he swallowed the Healing pill that was resting in his mouth.

(3 hours later)

He woke up and began to check his body for wounds and once he realised there was no major injuries just a few bruises he looked into his pocket and found his space pouch was still there however he had no form of money, Only a couple of low-grade level 1 manuals..With no other choice he looked at the path and began to walk towards a city.

After a long 3 hour journey and the small sacrifice of his clothes which were ragged and dirty he arrived at a city called Sunset City which was also ruled by he Laing family, He quickly entered and sold the manuals, normally he wouldn't do this however he had no other choice.Firstly among the books there was no circulation Technique which meant Jaing Ning couldn't begin to cultivate.Secondly he needed money to live.

Jaing Ning used his money to buy a small courtyard and although there not much left he kept the rest for his daily needs.

As the moon rised Jaing Ning's lively first day in his new world came to an end aswell as his dreams of becoming an immortal and his status as a wealthy young master. He was now just a orphan.
