Valerie was looking forward to an exciting evening, she was walking alongside Andrew before a stranger bumped into her and she nearly tripped but she felt Andrew's hand breaking her fall, The next thing she heard was Andrew talking to the man about almost making her fall, she turned to face the man cause she noticed he had stopped, she was a tall man, he made Andrew look small when he stepped into the light and revealed his face she could look at every detail of his face.
He was a very attractive man but it didn't give him the right to bump into random people, she stood there and wondered why the strange man was staring at her, she was expecting an apology at least but he just stood there and was staring so evidently at her, she was confused as to why he was acting so weird, what a strange man, she thought to herself.
She saw him raise his hand and then the next thing she heard was Andrew telling her to come inside with his hands still wrapped around her, he's truly a gentleman and she smiled, Such a perfect man, He's so nice and considerate.
When they got inside and got their reservation, she could see how lovely the place was, it's not like it bothered her that she wasn't opportuned to visit this place regularly but she was amazed by how fancy it was, The waiter led them to their table and Andrew's hands was still wrapped around her, she could feel the warmth his body exudes.
They got to their table and made themselves comfortable, Andrew couldn't help but apologize for the incident that just happened "I'm sorry about what happened back there, I hope you're not hurt" Valerie didn't even think about the pain, she was a lot much smaller than Carson so obviously it'll sting but she replied with a smile "oh no I'm fine, don't worry about it, mistakes happen" she was just happy to be there with him, they spoke and enjoyed the evening when it was time to leave because it was getting late, she couldn't find her purse, she had wondered why I hand felt empty.
she always holds her phone in one hand and her purse in the other, she knew her phone was with her but she didn't know what exactly was missing, she then recalled it might be outside, maybe it fell off her when she bumped into the strange man who her she kept thinking about now and then during the date, They stood up and went in search of the purse but they couldn't find it, she was so disheartened but Andrew assured her that it'll be returned and she shouldn't pay much attention towards it.
She couldn't do anything about it now so they left the restaurant, he delivered her safely to her house he told her "I had a nice time and I wouldn't mind doing all that again some other time, does that sound good to you?" She nodded and smiled she got down from the car and got into her house.
Gwen and Carmen were waiting for her and they needed details but she was tired and told them she'd explain everything the next day before she could go upstairs to her room Gwen stopped her and demanded details "I mean you're right here, you might as well tell us what happened, we've been waiting here for you" she knew Gwen will say something like this but she was glad Carmen came to her rescue "Gwen stop bugging her, I'm sure she will tell us tomorrow, let her have a good night rest" with that being said she climbed up to her room and freshened up.
She was wearing shorts and a T-shirt, she was tired and wanted to sleep but her mind couldn't stop wandering back to that strange man, why was he staring at her? maybe he was just confused or lost, she thought, she got a message and when she checked her phone she saw "I enjoyed today, have a goodnight" it was from Andrew, he was so nice she couldn't believe they finally went out on a date, she finally let the thoughts that were wavering in her head subside and she closed her eyes to sleep.
She got a call and she thought maybe it was Andrew and he wanted to hear her voice, she picked up the phone and saw it was an unknown number, she was a bit surprised but she picked it up anyway "Hello?" Carson replied "I'm the one with your purse, I'll hand over it tomorrow at Wendy's cafe at 9 AM sharp" he hung up the call,She had a mix of emotions, she didn't know whether she should be happy cause her purse was found or confused at the same time, she slept and anticipated the next day.
"I won't be needing the driver tomorrow" Carson was talking to Benson, But it was Benson's job to make sure Carson wasn't making a mistake or doing anything detrimental to himself or the business so he asked "Why is that?"
"I will be tending to a serious matter, I don't need a driver for tomorrow" Carson casually said, "Okay noted", Benson left Carson alone and he sat and was thinking to himself, I'm glad I saw her purse today, how would I have been able to get to her.
Carson, on the other hand, picked Wendy's cafe cause it was the closest cafe around the restaurant where he had met her, Unknowingly to him it wasn't that far from her place, The next day came and she got dressed and dashed off to retrieve her purse, she got there twenty minutes too early and sat by the corner waiting for him when Carson finally arrived he immediately noticed her the corner and walked up to her, When their eyes met she noticed he was the strange man who bumped into her last night, he sat down and said "well good morning to you" she didn't want to sound impolite so she replied "good morning" she didn't want to entertain any discussion with him.
She immediately asked for her purse "So where is my purse" he handed it to her and she said "Thank you for helping me keep it safe" he smiled at her and said " I'm Carson and I want you" Her eyes widened at his choice of words and forwardness she thought maybe she didn't hear correctly then she asked "excuse me?" with a much louder tone than she had been using and he repeated it and now with much more seriousness and clarity "I want you and I will get you" she heard him and figured she had to leave, maybe he was playing a prank or he was simply mad she stood up to leave and he grabbed her hand...
