After a short drive, they arrived at the Italian restaurant Nicole had mentioned. It was a cozy, warmly lit place tucked away on a quiet street downtown, with outdoor seating that gave it a charming, rustic feel. As they walked inside, they were greeted by the soft hum of conversation and the mouthwatering aroma of freshly baked bread and simmering sauces.
The hostess led them to a table near the window, where they could see the glow of the city lights just starting to flicker on outside. As they sat down, Nicole immediately grabbed the menu with a mischievous grin. "Alright, I'm starving. Let's see what we've got here."
April smiled and picked up her own menu. "I could go for some pasta tonight. Maybe something with seafood."
Sandro, too, perused the menu, his mind wandering back to the events of the day. As they made small talk and placed their orders—Nicole going for a classic Margherita pizza, April choosing a seafood linguine, and Sandro opting for a hearty lasagna—he couldn't help but think about the ideas he'd written in his notebook earlier.
Once the waiter had taken their orders and left, the table fell into a comfortable lull. The soft clinking of glasses and the low murmur of other diners filled the space around them, creating a relaxed and intimate atmosphere.
April looked up at Sandro, sensing the shift in his energy. "You've been quiet," she observed, her tone gentle. "What's on your mind?"
Sandro smiled, appreciating her perceptiveness. "I've been thinking about some ideas for the future. About wrestling… and about us." He paused, looking between the two women. "I wrote down some thoughts in my notebook earlier, things I've been wanting to share with you."
Nicole immediately perked up, leaning forward with excitement. "Oh? Is this about those big moments you were talking about earlier?"
Sandro nodded. "Yeah, exactly. I've been thinking a lot about how I want to stand out in FCW, especially with the rumors about the new talents coming in. It's not enough to just be good in the ring anymore; you need to create moments that stick with people. Moments that make fans remember you long after the match is over."
April nodded thoughtfully, her eyes focused on Sandro. "That makes sense. It's all about the story you tell, right? Not just in the ring, but outside of it too."
"Exactly," Sandro said, encouraged by her understanding. "I've been thinking about different angles, different storylines we could work on, but more than that… I've been thinking about how me and Kofi could expand our storyline." He paused for a moment, glancing between the two women again. "Not just as a tag team, but as a unit."
Nicole tilted her head, intrigued. "Like a faction or something?"
Sandro smiled. "Something like that, yeah. But I want it to feel fresh. Something that reflects who we are and makes sense, not just a standard team-up."
April leaned in, her interest piqued. "So, what are you thinking? How would it work?"
Sandro reached into his pocket and pulled out his notebook, flipping through the pages to find the notes he'd made earlier. He placed the notebook on the table between them, his finger tracing the lines of his ideas.
Sandro flipped through the pages of his notebook until he found the idea he had jotted down earlier. "Here it is," he said, tapping the page. "This is what I've been thinking: Kofi and I have been dominating the tag team division for a while now, and I want to expand on that momentum. The idea is that at some point, a fellow wrestler—someone who's been struggling, getting beat down week after week—approaches us for help. He's been facing off against a group of three, and he asks for our support in a six-man tag match."
April and Nicole listened intently as Sandro continued, outlining the storyline he envisioned. "Because we're babyfaces, and we've got that justice-driven persona, we agree to help him. We have the match, we win, and during that match, we realize there's chemistry. We start teaming up more often, the three of us, and eventually, we become an official trios faction."
Nicole's eyes widened with interest. "I like where this is going. It's different from just another tag team turned into a faction storyline, at least in my memory it never happened before."
Sandro nodded, his voice gaining momentum as he explained the potential. "Exactly. Over time, we support this wrestler, help him develop, and give him the mentorship he needs. He becomes a stronger competitor, and eventually, with our backing, he earns a world title shot. And when he wins, it cements our faction as the dominant force in FCW. We'd hold the tag titles, and he'd have the world title. The whole company would revolve around us."
April leaned forward, her eyes shining with excitement. "That's a really solid idea, Sandro. It's not just about you and Kofi dominating—it's about elevating someone else and creating a deeper story arc. It could be great for long-term storytelling."
Nicole was equally enthusiastic. "I love it! It's a fresh angle. You're not just building yourselves up—you're giving someone else a platform, which is rare. Factions are always memorable when they elevate everyone involved."
Sandro smiled, relieved that they were so receptive to his idea. He had been nervous about pitching it, but their enthusiasm boosted his confidence. "I was thinking that the dynamic of the group could be a big part of the storyline. Kofi and I would be like mentors to this guy, but not in a way that makes him seem weak. More like we're guiding him, helping him reach his potential. And when he wins the world title, it's the ultimate payoff for the audience. They'd be rooting for him because they've seen the journey."
April smiled, her mind already spinning with ideas. "It's like you're taking someone under your wing and helping them prove themselves. It's got a heart. And with the right person, it could really resonate with fans."
Nicole, always quick to pick up on details, grinned. "Speaking of the right person, who do you have in mind for this? You've clearly thought this through."
Sandro paused for a moment, thinking carefully. He glanced at Nicole and April before answering. "I was thinking about Taylor."
April's eyebrows raised in surprise. "Taylor? As in the guy who tagged with Heath last Monday facing you and Kofi in a non title match?"
Sandro nodded. "Yeah. He's got a lot of potential, and I think this could be the perfect storyline to push him to the next level. He's young, he's hungry, and he's been waiting for a bigger role. I know Steve and Dusty have been looking for ways to use him more, and this could be the opportunity."
Nicole leaned back in her chair, recalling the match. "I remember that guy. He's good, really good. He's got the technical skills, and he works well with a crowd. His debut match and matches after that were also very good. This could be his moment."
April nodded, now fully on board. "You're right. I could see that Taylor's the kind of wrestler who needs the right story to connect with fans. He's got the in-ring ability, but he's still figuring out his character. If you and Kofi get behind him, it could be the push he needs."
Sandro felt a surge of excitement as he saw April and Nicole agreeing with his choice. "Exactly. And I think this could work perfectly for Steve and Dusty, too. They want to build new stars, and if we help Taylor get over, it benefits everyone."
Just as the conversation reached a high point, the waiter arrived with their food. The rich, savory aroma of their dishes filled the air as plates of lasagna, seafood linguine, and Margherita pizza were placed in front of them. For a moment, the serious talk shifted into something lighter as they dug into their meals, savoring the first bites.
"Okay, this is delicious," Nicole said with a satisfied smile, taking a big bite of her pizza.
April nodded in agreement, twirling some linguine around her fork. "This was a great idea, Nicole."
Sandro chuckled, taking a bite of his lasagna. "Definitely a good call."
For the next several minutes, the conversation turned to lighter topics—jokes about training, stories from past matches, and thoughts on upcoming FCW events. It was a nice break from the intensity of their earlier discussion, and the three of them found themselves laughing and enjoying each other's company in a way that felt natural, comfortable, and deeply connected.
As the plates were cleared and they finished their drinks, the mood lightened even more. Nicole, true to her bold nature, couldn't help but bring up their new relationship again. "So… since this is our first official date, what do you think? Are we off to a good start?"
Sandro grinned, leaning back in his chair. "I'd say it's been pretty perfect."
April smiled softly. "I agree. It's been nice to just… enjoy the moment."
Nicole winked at Sandro. "Well, let's hope you can keep up this level of charm on the next one."
They laughed, and soon, it was time to head back to FCW. As they left the restaurant, Sandro felt a sense of contentment settle over him. This was exactly what he had hoped for—not just in terms of his career, but in his personal life as well. He had found something special with April and Nicole, and the night had only solidified that feeling.
Once they got back into Sandro's car, the conversation was light and full of warmth as they drove back to FCW. But as they pulled into the parking lot and the engine idled, there was a brief moment of quiet. Nicole, ever the bold one, decided to make her move.
Before Sandro could even unbuckle his seatbelt, Nicole leaned over, her hand gently turning his face toward hers. To his surprise, she quickly pecked him on the lips, her face flushing as she pulled away.
"Thanks for the first date," she said quickly, a slight blush creeping up her cheeks as she darted out of the car, running toward the entrance of the building.
Sandro blinked, still processing what had just happened. He turned to his right and saw April sitting there, her face equally flushed. She glanced at him, clearly flustered by what had just occurred.
"Uh… I should—" April stammered, her hand reaching for the door.
But before she could leave, Sandro gently took her hand, pulling her back toward him. He leaned in, giving her the same gentle peck on the lips that Nicole had given him. "I have to treat you both equally, right?" he said softly, a playful smile on his lips.
April's face turned an even deeper shade of red, but she couldn't help the smile that spread across her face. "Y-Yeah… that's fair."
With that, she quickly got out of the car, giving him a somewhat shy wave before following Nicole into the building.
Sandro leaned back in his seat, letting out a soft laugh as he watched them disappear into the entrance. His heart felt light, and his mind was filled with the possibilities ahead. Whether it was in the ring or in his personal life, Sandro knew he was moving forward into something truly special.
After thinking for a moment in his car, Sandro got out and headed toward the FCW building, feeling a sense of calm after his date with Nicole and April. It had been a night that reassured him of the connections he was building, both personally and professionally.
As he entered the training area, he was immediately greeted by a group of his fellow wrestlers—Kofi, Nick, Sheamus, Drew, and Stu—who were already geared up and ready for their evening workout.
"Look who finally decided to show up," Kofi said, flashing Sandro a grin and first bumped with Sandro.
Sandro chuckled and shook his head. "I had a long brunch with some important people. You guys didn't wait up for me, huh?"
Sheamus clapped him on the back as they headed toward the training area. "Well we just arrived fella so don't worry, but I don't know if you could keep up with us after having a long brunch."
"Don't start," Sandro replied with a mock groan, though his smile betrayed him. His mind goes back to the sweet moments with Nicole and April, but now it is time to shift gears. He was back in the FCW gym, and there was work to be done.
The group moved into their usual training routine, lifting weights, sparring, and going over some of their upcoming match strategies. Kofi and Sandro, as reigning tag team champions, were particularly focused, knowing they had some high-profile matches coming up. They pushed each other hard during training, always aiming to refine their moves and keep their momentum strong in the ring.
