Seeing this scene, a group of Ghost Practitioners were both shocked and furious. They hadn't expected that, after talking tough earlier, their opponents would launch an attack on them first.
However, the Tri-Eyed Emperor, Emperor Wu, Emperor Proud, and some other high-ranking Saint King Ghost Practitioners remained unfazed. Spirits and Ghost Practitioners were natural adversaries; the fact that the other side had given them so much time to talk and unite was already decently considerate of them.
Now, with the sides firmly opposed, was it not very normal for the other side to attack as they did? Could they perhaps be expected to stand there and let themselves be surrounded and beaten?
