The man and Onika parted on bad terms, turning into a black shadow flying out of the window and disappearing into the air.
Onika stared at the window, her left hand constantly swirling with a crimson energy, but it did not launch even as the man disappeared.
With a wave of her hand, she dispersed the energy, snorted coldly, and turned to enter the room behind her.
Just then, a servant came to report: "Madam, Miss Anna has brought a God's Chosen One, claiming that they can cure the city lord's illness!"
"Anna? Hmph!" A disdainful smile appeared on Onika's lips, and she said, "Tell Anna that the city lord is resting in bed and cannot be disturbed. Also, tell her that those God's Chosen Ones are frauds, and they have no ability to save the city lord!"
