In the wilderness, Song Jian saw a group of players searching for monsters. They all wore the emblem of the City of Hope Alliance, which now was the only alliance in the City of Hope. Other guilds had either merged or left long ago. Song Jian stored his spider mount and walked toward them.
Seeing Song Jian, the players gathered around him.
"Lord Mayor."
"Lord Mayor, have you also come to hunt the Abyss monsters?"
"We have already searched this area, boss. We didn't find any Abyss monsters, so we plan to look further afield..."

The group buzzed around Song Jian with their questions and remarks. Those who called him Lord Mayor were generally those who had joined the alliance later, while the ones addressing him as boss were the old members who had been with Song Jian since the founding of the city.
