It's often said that plans can't keep up with changes, and one always has to modify their own plans based on what's happening right before their eyes.
Because essentially, a plan is nothing more than a means to help people reach their goals.
Or, it can be viewed as an extremely important reference standard.
But this doesn't mean that it is an unchangeable reference point.
It's like seeing a distant flickering light in a pitch-black forest and deciding to progress towards the spot lit by that light.
But midway through this progress, one suddenly discovers a chasm blocking the path to their destination.
The question then becomes: should one stick to their original plan and try to find a way around the chasm to continue forward?
Or should one simply give up, stop, turn around, and go back?
This is the problem Violet is currently facing, it's a very difficult problem to solve.
