Upon hearing these words, Violet finally felt things were back to normal.
First, she took a glance at her surroundings, moved forward, and waved her hand dismissively.
"There's nothing for you to do here, carry on with your own duties. This is my territory - I know what to do."
The few mercenaries could only awkwardly watch as their leader walked away from them.
They were patrolling the safety of the suburb, hoping to use this opportunity to get closer to Violet.
But clearly, their attempt had failed.
After watching Violet's figure disappear, several team members in the group immediately grabbed the individual who spoke first by the throat.
"Hey! What the hell were you saying? How could that have happened?"
Choking, the unfortunate mercenary rolled his eyes.
"I'm dying...let go of my neck first, we can talk it through."
