An extremely irate Halse showed up in front of Violet without hesitation.
For Violet, just observing the expressions on his face was enough for her to guess the situation she was confronting.
When Halse kneeled in front of Violet, even before he could open his mouth, Violet, with clarity and determination, spoke first.
"I know what you're about to say. That guy wasn't willing to agree to what I proposed, was he?"
Halse, dumbfounded, looked at Violet, caught completely off guard. This had been within her calculations.
And so, under such circumstances, he eventually stated truthfully.
"Yes, milady, that guy is nothing more than a thug and a ruffian. He has no idea what he should actually be doing."
Upon hearing what Halse said, a warm smile appeared on Violet's face.
"It's not a good habit to hastily judge someone, Halse. You should know the consequences of misjudging your enemies."
