Noble families with vast resources and power enforced intricate ceremonies to exhibit class distinctions, among which were various rituals for celebrating birth, such as "Three Days," "Full Moon," "Hundred Days," and "First Birthday."
The so-called Three Days referred to the celebration of the newborn three days after birth, accepting gifts from all sides without making an appearance, merely receiving presents.
The Full Moon banquet marked the shaving of the infant's fetal hair, alongside a feast hosted by the family to express gratitude to guests, separated into inner and outer chambers.
If the Three Days and Full Moon were merely rituals of social exchange among noble families, then by the "Hundred Days," it all returned to the celebration of the birth itself.
