A man, dressed in lunar-white robes and sporting a silver hat, hastily approached and whispered words of unknown context. Soon after, the incantations veiled across the metal doors began to fade. Promptly, a small door appeared on the left side, into which Su Yu and Qin Jiagui were guided. The door led them into an open courtyard surrounded by a sealed space. As they ventured deeper, layer upon layer of metal doors, each engraved with mystic charms, descended and then ascended once they had passed through, then closed firmly behind them.
Observing the intricate defenses, Su Yu was overcome by an unsettling realization—penetrating this fortress or escaping from it was not going to be an easy task, which induced a faint unease in his heart.
