Longhun glanced at Shi Xueqin, saying, "Girl, you're too naive."
"Am I?" Shi Xueqin earnestly looked at him.
"Like a glass of plain water, unaware of how the real world operates. Perhaps it's better that way; the more you understand, the less happiness there is." Longhun gazed at her absentmindedly.
"Is that really the case?"
"Yes, it really is. So, being naive and knowing nothing is a happy state."
Shi Xueqin gifted him a slight smile, a gesture always stirring his heart.
Longhun suddenly grew serious, stating, "We are all not naive. There's darkness in everyone's heart."
"Don't belittle yourself."
"Truly, perhaps one day, you might consider killing me."
"How could that ever happen?"
"Nothing is impossible. I am inherently a villain, my hands doomed to be stained with blood. Killing me could save many others." Longhun slightly laughed.
"Unless I've gone mad or possessed, I would never attempt to kill you. It just doesn't make sense!" Shi Xueqin sweetly smiled.
