The four men all looked over, at first stunned, then sizing him up; they felt he didn't look like a fisherman. Ye Chen quickly added, "I came here with a fisherman because it got too dark, so I stopped here for the night. I'll continue on my way tomorrow."
A man with a whiskered face, upon hearing this, dropped his suspicion, and slightly nodded, saying, "Yes, we are fishermen."
"I see that those seem to be pirates; aren't you afraid?"
"What's there to be afraid of? What's the big deal with pirates, as long as they don't hurt people?"
