The office sank into silence.
Shen Yue and Jin Xin exchanged glances. They were somewhat surprised by Zhai Keyi's diagnosis. When they saw her at the airport, they thought she was just a self-obsessed internet celebrity. They didn't expect that in just a few days, Zhai Keyi's condition would deteriorate so much.
After listening to Richard's analysis of Zhai Keyi's condition, Gao Jie said to Shen Yue: "Advisor Shen, may I speak with you privately?"
"He is an advisor to Jin Tang," Jin Xin clarified.
"Then I'd like to discuss with both of you," Gao Jie corrected herself.
Standing nearby, Richard asked, "May I listen in?"
Gao Jie furrowed her brow, "Of course."
Seeing the situation, Director Liu quietly speculated that he wasn't privy to what Gao Jie wanted to discuss. Hence the request for a private conversation. While Director Liu didn't particularly care for Shen Yue and his group, he was always very polite to Gao Jie.
