— Nearly every method of murder within human imagination was on display here, silently narrating to what levels of brutality mankind could stoop.
The murderers' causes of death were quite uniform.
All died from being beaten or strangled by hand, and all by Roland's hand.
Bodies with crushed heads and chests, necks turned at odd angles were stacked with the girls' bodies, reminiscent of kaleidoscopes and mirror mazes, endlessly extending the exhibition of death—the overly detailed phantasm slowly dyed Roland's psyche with colors of madness.
