If the enemy's guided missiles (referred to as Charlemagnes) had breached the "Wall of Sighs" and struck the "Endeavor" in succession, given their warhead strength of 300 kilograms or even 1 ton, it wouldn't have been surprising if the entire battleship had been reduced to parts on the spot, blasted into a pile of holes, with dead bodies and burning metal scattered everywhere. This, instead, could be considered somewhat fortunate or unfortunate.
However, the guided missiles had not penetrated the barriers constructed by spatial phase shifts; the physical energy from the explosions still couldn't reach the "Endeavor."
It wasn't from the outside, but rather a rapidly spreading slaughter from within that was gradually overtaking the "Endeavor."
