Mobile Armors (MA), briefly referred to as MAs, are derived from the concept of exoskeletons powered externally and contrast with the Multi-purpose Defensive System (MDS), which is known for its versatility and ease of production. MAs are more akin to super-heavy tanks, torpedo boats, missile boats, etc.—specialized weapons tailored for specific purposes emphasizing certain performance aspects. By eliminating general-purpose features, ease of production, and balanced performance, and highlighting one or two metrics like firepower, armor, or mobility, MAs meet specific tactical needs. As such, they not only departed from humanoid forms but also lost a strict defining framework. When various models of MAs are lined up together, the sight resembles a monster convention; people struggle to believe these oddly-shaped heaps of metal are actually of the same kind.
