Lugdunum.
One of the oldest cities of Charlemagne, only smaller than Lutèce and Marseille, the capital of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, the ancient capital of the Kingdom of Burgundy, a hub for textile, leather, printing, and metal processing industries, the financial center of Charlemagne...
A long string of dazzling titles showcased the city's glorious history and illustrious status, filling every citizen of Lugdunum with pride.
Now, the city had acquired a new title.
—One of the very few large cities that had not been visited by the "buzz bomb."
It was quite strange, the sinister weapons of the Pointed-Eared Heretics were certainly capable of reaching major cities like Lutèce and Lugdunum, and the flames, once ignited, were difficult to extinguish in such densely populated areas, no doubt capable of causing massive casualties. Yet, bizarrely, the Sharp-Eared fiends had refrained from doing so. Until now, the capital and Lugdunum had not suffered a single bomb.
