Hundreds of flashes of cold light, like lightning, streaked across the darkness, sketching complex grid patterns before disappearing into the void. Here, time and space lost their meanings.

Thoughts spread out like waves. Although Roland had not spoken nor used any observational devices, he could clearly sense his thoughts dissipating in the darkness, reacting with something else.
(This is the "Abyss.")
Thought interferes with the world, and the world in turn projects thought.
Philosophical concepts become tangible phenomena, the mysterious "Abyss of Zero" that even imagination could not touch until now.
